*A prayer to the LORD, from me
God, you are so gracious and merciful to me
I have no words that do you justice
I have no song that holds the wealth
Of your wisdom
Since I cannot fully voice your magnificence
I will say what I can
With the wisdom you have granted me
I hope it pleases you dearly
LORD you are awesome and inspiring
You are magnificent and humble
You are strong and mighty
You are gracious and merciful
You are loving and kind
You are righteous and just
You are Almighty and holy
You are all knowing and all seeing
You are patient and wise
You are more to me than any prize
You died for me, a wicked sinner
You are with me through the dark
You are proud and are not arrogant
You make weak the strong
You make strong the weak
You bring the haughty down
You lift the humble up
You bring joy to those with sorrow
You cause sorrow to come upon the joyful
You are by my side forever
You will never leave me, you I'll follow
You granted all the free gift of salvation
You suffered on the roman cross
You were mocked and ridiculed
You rose to life and beat down death
You will return one day soon
You are LORD
You are good
Now after all I've said
Still I know the truth
That all these words of praise
Are nothing like You
You are more than man can conceive
Far greater than our wildest dreams
LORD this poem is a prayer to you
I praise you, and only you
And I know one day
I know and am certain
I know that one day, You're returning soon
