SWAYZE'S BAR
In the bar Dean, Elena and Lee are now alone at the table, and talk has turned to hunting.
"Ghost sickness." Dean Says
"Ghost sickness?" Lee Says
"Ghost sickness. Man, it was no fun. Everything was scary. This cat jumped out at me, had me checking my pants. I'm not joking. It was awful, man. Whew!" Dean Says, as Elena nodded her head.
"No way." Lee Says
"Way, I think that's the only time in my life I've heard him scream like a little girl." Elena Says
"I didn't scream like a little girl." Dena Says, smiling sheepishly.
"Dean I was there, screamed like a little girl." Elena Says, as she and Lee laughs.
"Alright, alright...to be fair it was dark and that cat scared me." Dean Says, as Elena takes his hand.
"Aw it's okay sweetie, you're safe now." Elena Says, as he kisses the back of his hand.
"I just realized y'all haven't even told me what case you're working on, man." Lee Says
"Oh. Right. So, a girl went missing. 'Course, the sheriff thinks it's nothing, right?" Dean Says
"Yeah, well, the sheriff in this town couldn't find his ass with a flashlight and a map." Lee Says
Dean pulls out and shows Lee the newspaper clipping with Angela's picture.
"You recognize her?" Dean Asks
"Mm, no." Lee Says
"You sure?" Elena Asks, as Lorna approaches.
"That's Angela, Lee. She's in here all the time." Lorna Says
"Wait. Is this the girl that doesn't drink that much?" Lee Asks
"That's the one." Lorna Says
"But her friend?" Lee Says
"Like a fish." Lorna Says
"Is like a fish." Lee Says
"Huh." Dean Says
"Would you boys excuse me, I have to use the bathroom..I'll be back." Elena Says
"Mm." Dean Says
As she leaves she gets up from her seat, gives Dean a kiss then walks off.
"Hm, thought this case would be easygoing." Dean Says
"What are you doing, man?" Lee Says
"What?" Dean Says
"You're chasing missing persons, huh? I thought you'd be on to something bigger by now, like the Loch Ness Monster... Bigfoot." Lee Says
"Trust me, uh, bigger doesn't always equal better. Besides, who's gonna look out after the little guy? God certainly isn't." Dean Says
"Damn, brother, that's dark." Lee Says
"Yeah, it's been a rough, uh...it's been a rough decade, Lee." Dean Says
"Yeah." Lee Says
"But that's a conversation for a different time, 'cause this, this right here, this is all right." Dean Says
"Well, I'm glad you approve. This is nothing you can't have, man." Lee Says
"Oh, come on. Who's gonna kill the bad guys?" Dean Says
"Somebody else. Dean, how many lives you think you saved, huh? Hundreds? Thousands? You deserve a break, bro. Hell, you might even deserve two." Lee Says
