THE BUNKER
In the bunker library Sam and Elena is still hard at work searching for another way. In frustration, Sam slams a book shut and shoves it off the table.
"Sorry." Sam Says
"It's alright. I understand it. I-I... I feel it, too. It's hopelessness." Elena Says
"Maybe Dean was right." Sam Says
"Yeah, maybe." Elena Says
Cas enters, picks up the book, and returns it to the pile on the table.
"Here you go." Castiel Says
"Thanks, It just... It feels wrong. You know, Billie's got Dean so convinced." Sam Says
"But you don't believe her?" Elena Asks
"I don't know what I believe. I just wish I could talk to her, Billie, before it all goes down, you know, just to make sure." Sam Says
"There is no easy way to summon death, and I will not let you end your own life." Castiel Says
"Cas, that's not what I'm saying. Wait...You remember when Sergei was here? Remember what he was looking for?" Sam Says
"Yeah, it was the Key to Death." Castiel Says
"Yes." Sam Says
"Wait, he said it would open the doorway to—to Death's Library." Castiel Says
"Wait seriously?" Elena Says
"Yeah but If it's in the bunker and if we can find it, m-maybe I can just...walk up to her, right?" Sam Says
"Right." Castiel Says
"Let's start looking." Elena Says
Soon there's a montage of Sam, Elena and Cas researching the key and looking through boxes of artifacts.
In a chest labeled "Copper Creek Mining Company," Elena finds a casket with the skull symbol from their research. Inside is the key they're looking for.
"Cas..Sam?" Elena Says
"Cas, this has to be it." Sam Says
Elena hands Sam the box, then looks inside it.
"Wait there's an inscription."
"It's in Latin. Viator mortalis, cave, quoniam scias Clavem Mortis pensare graviter. Il tamen desideres, ut introeas illum abyssum obscurissium artis, opus est tibi porta." Sam Says
The key glows in Sam's hand, and the illuminated outline of a doorway appears on the wall, with a glowing keyhole.
"Sam, Elena I should go with you." Castiel Says
"No, Cas... Look, I don't know if this is crazy or...or what, but if Dean beats us back here...Buy us some time?" Sam Says
"Look, for what it's worth, I don't think you're crazy. I think your internal compass is functioning perfectly." Castiel Says
Sam looks to Elena, "Ready?"
"Yeah." Elena nods, as Sam nods as well.

DEATH'S LIBRARY
Sam puts the key into the hole and, he and Elena goes through the doorway into Billie's library. They are then confronted by the body of a reaper on the ground, and then more dead reapers. In the distance they can hear screaming and cautiously explores.
"Please! Wait, wait, don't hurt me! No!"
"Please, please. She won't come!"
"Keep praying or whatever." The Empty Says
