There are certain things you can do to a person in the name of 'righteousness'. For example, putting a snarky person in their place or teaching a 'bad' person how to be good. But it's different when you're seen as the villain right?
You're made to one-up the main character and be a pebble they practice kicking on. In (those types of) authors minds, they think it's perfect. Destroy the villain and give them a reason to cause chaos.
Turn them insane.
Destroy their hope.
Curve their mind to where they can't think anymore.
Choke up their dreams and twist the meaning.
Why should it matter? They're the villain, right?
Right?...
RIGHT?.....
RIGHT?...
Why aren't you answering?...
Stop pretending to be considerate.
You think the same thing to, don't you?
That my fate is sealed and I don't have a choice?
