👻 The contest runs from October 1, 2023, until October 31, 2023. The contest ends on October 31, 2023, at 11:59 PM EST. Any entries received after this time will not be included in judging. Winners will be announced towards the end of November.

👻 Stories must be newly written and a one-shot.

👻 Short story entries must be between 1000 and 5000 words.

👻 Poetry entries must not exceed 500 words.

👻 We accept entries in English, Chinese, German, Greek, Hindi, Portuguese, Sinhala, Thai, and Turkish.

👻 OPTIONAL: tag your stories with #HalloweenVault2023 and/or #HV2023

👻 We are only accepting one entry per user. Please publish your story as a separate book or in your existing short story collection. If your story is in a short story collection, please provide a direct chapter link to your entry.

👻 Mature content is accepted, but it must follow Wattpad Content Guidelines.
