When the bell rang, we left to our next class I met my sister in our place. My sister, Deena is a freshmen, my parents make me walk her to her first class everyday because I needed to "be there for my sister" she could've easily walked herself. I never really had a problem with it until it started interfering with me "being late" for my class. As I walked down the red hall to her home room I saw Zara, he wasn't accompanied by his pale friend. I kinda feel bad for not knowing his name. I observed as he walked fast-pase to his destination. I never understood why he wanted to be so early. He was always the first person to be in class. I turned my attention to what I was originally doing and took a turn. "Hey Malia" Deena said "Hey" I said with a smile "which one is it today?" "History" she said with an eye roll. I scoffed. "just wait until you have to deal with chemistry"

As I walked into my class my teacher looked frustrated "sorry, I-.. my sister, I had too-" "Enough Ms. Addams, you already disrupted the class long enough. Take your seat." I look down as I walked through the aisle. Lauren was sitting with Jacob, and all seats were taken.. except one, the one next to Zara. Now it makes sense as to why he was walking by himself. I sat down and took my coat off then placed it over my chair. "Hi." I said, trying to break the tension. "Hey" he said, not even making eye contact with me. I looked awkardly to the side as I tucked one of my coils behind my ear.

I spaced out for half the class when I came back I turned to see Zara sketching, it was some anime character, I wouldn't know who I don't watch anime. "Wow you draw really well, who's that supposed to be?" I asked "oh, uh it's Levi Ackerman" He said. "Oh. Cool" I said, not even knowing who that was. I tapped my fingers on the desk, looking around. "You're not much of a talker, are you?" I laughed. He laughed shyly then looked at me revealing is dark brown eyes. "Iziekiel's more of the talker in our friendship" I smiled and looked off to the side, thinking. "Iziekiel..? Is that the friend you're always with? The one with the beanie?" I asked. "Uh, yeah" he said. We talked for a while and joked around until the bell rang. "I don't know why I never talked to you before, your a pretty cool dude" he looked off to the side, hiding his his face. "Thanks" he said. He grabbed his bag, getting ready to leave. "Hey, what do you have next?" I asked "Oh, uh biology." "Cool! Me and Lauren have that next, you could walk with us if you want" I offered. He smiled warmly "Oh, sure, thanks" "Don't mention it" I say. We walk to Lauren and Jacob.

"Made a new friend, M?" Jacob said laughing "this is Zara, we know him, he's our classmate. Don't be stupid" I said, knowing how Jacob could get. "Hi! I'm Lauren, but you can call me Laur." Lauren said, shaking his hand. "Oh, this is the kid we saw in the bus." Jacob said "where's your weird friend?" He asked. "Jay.." Lauren said elbowing him. I looked at Zara and he seemed uncomfortable. "Quit the jerk act" I said, giving him a look. He sighed and said "I'm Jacob" "Cool." Zara said "Lauren, Zara has our next class so we're gonna walk with him" "Cool!" Jacob rolled his eyes at Laurens excitement. Yet she's always excited so should he really be surprised.
