Chapter 10

Jack pov
I was sat on the sofa with my girlfriend Lilly and our two dogs Rocky and Tallulah and I was just ranting about the argument I had with Conor and Evie

I simply just don't get it I try and convince her to stay with Conor but she's having none of it and I realised how it's affected her and now she thinks oh it can all go back to normal just like that! Me being her best friend and being there for her more than my brother was a waste of time but not only that she's too in love with conor to realise if he does it once he may just do it again!

"Babe it isn't you're place to say anything though and if conor does it again that's her mistake if so but do you believe he'll do it to her again?"lilly said I stopped to think I wanna believe no but myself thinks he will like conor had such a reputation for sleeping with girls until he met Evie this is the first mistake he's made and to be honest I didn't think they last a week when they started seeing each other

"I dunno lilly I mean yeh it isn't my place to say but Evie's my best friend I've known her longer than conor! They even lucky I allowed them to be with each other"I sighed she pulled me in for a little cuddle she rested her head on my shoulder and I stoned her arm a few times gently

"I know it's not what you wanna hear but Evie's a smart girl and her own person I know you treat her like a little sister but she doing her own thing they obviously still love each other and plus you haven't heard the whole conversation they had you just think conor treated her like one night stand to get it out of his system"she explained

"Yh I guess"I mumbled

I hate when she's right

"And we all know he wouldn't treat her like his past before her"Lilly said

"Yeh you're right"i said

"Like always"she said and gave me a peck and got up

"I'm gonna make dinner because we've had take out for few nights now"she said walking to the kitchen and rocky followed her I stroked the other dog

"Oh tallulah what am I gonna do mate"I sighed and went on my phone and wanted to call Evie or conor but I closed my phone and turned something on the tv and I got notification

Evie:hay let's meet and talk tomorrow xx

I sighed I really should even if I don't wanna right?

Jack:there nothing to talk about Evie

Evie:so you just wanna assume what's in you're head true and not get my side of the story? Xx
Evie:please you're my best friend I can't loose you <3

I looked away because I know what she saying is true...

Jack:right fine

I hope I don't regret this maybe I can see conor after I mean we are in our late 20s we not so young and dumb anymore...

Evie pov
It was the next day and i was walking to meet Jack for a coffee I had my AirPods in and listening to music and I saw the cute coffee shop and then someone stepped in my way it was a tall man similar to my age dark skin and brown hair and green eyes with a bit of stubble in joggers and matching hoodie

"Hay pretty girl"he said as I took my AirPods out and put case and shoved them in my bag

"Erm h-hay?"i said

"I just followed you from the tescos"he started to say wait he's been following me for like 5 mins if it's the little one near my house

"I just needed to ask for you're number because-"he started to say
