Chapter 18

-Y/n pov-
I'm thinking hard and it's kinda hurting my head...where do I even want to go with him...

I mean food never hurts right? I could go for some free food after school. I decided I'd go to a drive through restaurant and I send Luis a text.

-messages with luis-

Y/n: I was thinking fast food?

Luis: yeah that's perfect. Where do you want to go?

Y/n: surprise me:)

Luis: whatever you want princess

Y/n: stop it with the pet names!

-end of conversation-

I closed my phone not even caring what Luis sent next...he probably called me another pet name..frickin jerk

—lunch—

Me Emma and Jamie are sitting at our table in the cafeteria talking about lord knows what until Emma brings up Luis.
"So...you and Luis are going out after school?" She asked

"Yeah, he's taking me to get food."  I simply responded
"Oh cool" Jamie continued to eat his food
"Where is Luis by the way?" Emma looked at me with a suspicious look
"Uhhh..I actually don't know" I look around not spotting him the cafeteria.

"That's kinda strange." Emma shrugged it off
"Yeah I guess so.." I look around one more time making sure he actually wasn't at lunch, but I was right, he wasn't there.

—last period—

There is about 10 minutes left of my last period and I'm so ready to leave. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything my teacher was saying because he talked so slow. It was like watching a slug for 90 minutes straight....it gets so boring.

Finally the bell rang and I immediately get out of my seat to leave when my phone buzzed.

—messages—

Luis: ill pick you up at 6 wear something nice;)

Y/n: Luis wby would I need to wear something nice for fast food?

Luis: just trust me please.

—end of messages-

I roll my eyes and shut my phone off. Trust him my butt. I don't know what he's planing but not knowing is killing me.

I meet Emma and Jamie out by Jamie's can and we drive home.
"So I think Luis is taking me somewhere nice...". I start a conversation
"Ou where?"emma asked looking over to me
"I honestly don't know, all he said was wear something nice" I shrug
"I'm sure itll be fine though." Jamie reassured
"I hope.." I say barely loud enough for them to hear.

We arrive home and I still have hours to kill until Jamie is picking me up so I decide to take a nap. Nothing is wrong with a little nap after school.

Sometime during my nap Emma crawled in my bed with me and fell asleep. It was about 5 and I needed to get ready.
I hop out of bed and went straight to my closet to find what I'm gonna wear.

I pull out a few options and went from there. He did say something 'fancy' so maybe a dress.
I grab a simple tight fit thigh length black dress and throw it on.

"Damn look at that ass" I whip around and see Emma awake and smirking at me
"Oh shut up" I throw my shirt at her

"Is this too much or should I wear this tonight?" I asked Emma as I make a few adjustments to the dress
"It's perfect y/n" she smiled

"Ok thanks Emma!" I say walking into my bathroom and starting on my hair. I don't do too much to it and finish putting on my silver earrings.
I walk out to show Emma the final result and do a 360 spin
"Oh hell yeah! You look amazing" I said admiring my outfit
"What time is Luis coming anyway?" She asked
"He said something about 6 I think" I say putting on my shoes
"Oh girl it's 5:58 your right on time" she said making me laugh a little

"Now all I have to do is tell my uncle and I'm all set." I get up and start walking downstairs "you haven't told Murray yet??" She said surprised
"No...?" I say
"Do you think he would say yes it's kinda last minute...literally" she chuckled

"Yeah I'm sure-" I hear the doorbell ring making me stop mid sentence and my heart start to race. "I got it!" I yell and run down the stairs but it's too late my uncle already beat me to it.

"Luis what a surprise." Uncle Murray said
"Hey Uhh I'm here for y/n" Luis said nervously
"Y/n...you have company" Murray said right as I reached the bottom of the stairs.
"Oh uncle Murray I was just about to tell you, Luis is taking me to dinner tonight" I give him a pleading look

"Telling or asking?" Murray raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms
"Please uncle Murray" I gave him puppy dog eyes
"Fine. Be back by 10:30 it's a school night. Got it?" He said looking at directly at Luis

"Yes sir." He did grabbing my hand leading me out to his car.
He opens my door and I get it and buckle up as he gets in in the drivers side.

"So...where are we going anyways?" I asked looking at him

"It's a surprise remember princess?" He smirked
