Another slap to the face. The poor girl's cheek was bright red and painful.

Ever since they left, she has been crying and begging nonstop for them to take her back or let her go.

And everytime, he'd hit her.

"Nick enough! You can't break her now. We just bought her", the one driving told 'Nick'.

He grunted, "Fine, fine I'll stop but if she opens her mouth again -"

"That's why we'll teach her when we get back, not in the car" the driver interrupted again.

Nick crossed his arms and leaned back against the seat while the poor little girl trembled badly in fear.

She kept quiet.

Not a sound.

But her head was spinning.

Were all the smiles and head pats from Jonathan and Damien... a lie?

They didn't want her from the start?

Emerald cried silently throughout the ride.

She shouldn't have become attached to them.

They were probably rolling in the money they got.

They were happy now that she's gone.
