- Reader's POV -

Eunchae groans as she stretches her body, sat in her seat, yawning and scratching her belly. They're having a biology class right now. It was going to be a normal boring one, but for some reason, it was about blood today. Why must it be about blood.. Especially since she's a vampire... She doesn't want to talk about blood...

Not right now at least. Eunchae lets out a sigh and looks over at her other two friends, Wonyoung and Garam. Garam is sitting in front of Eunchae and Wonyoung, she is doodling something on a paper as she hums. She can't help but remember the odd dream Garam had this morning... It was so odd... Why did she see her choking to death?

Is it a sign? Maybe she's nearing a risky situation? No it can't, be Eunchae was with her all day long and she was perfectly fine. So maybe she's just worrying over nothing, and it's all in her head. "Miss Kim! Stop drawing and pay attention!" She hears the teacher tell Garam off.

The other students turned their head toward her, laughing silently, trying to hold back their giggles. Garam feels her cheeks heat up and they flush bright red, embarrassed. She covers her face with her hands and turns away. "Please refrain from doodling during class, Miss Kim." The teacher tells her.

"S-sorry sir.."

Garam murmurs as she stares down at her desk. Eunchae pouts, she wants to comfort Garam and hug her tightly, but she knows that would only make things worse. "So, let's continue." She finds it cute though, and it makes her smile. She leans over her desk, resting her chin on her palm, as she stares at Garam.

She was such an innocent, adorable and kind person. Eunchae can't help but feel like a jerk, she knows how sensitive Garam is yet strong and brave, and she can't help but like her for that. Garam sighs heavily and looks up from her desk, and as soon as she does, their eyes lock. Garam blushes furiously, and quickly averts her gaze.

Eunchae grins, her fangs poking out. "Alright class, now let's talk about blood!"

"I hate this..." Eunchae mutters under her breath.

"So, when a human's blood is flowing, the heartbeat is beating fast, so the blood can flow to all parts of the body. But a vampire's heart doesn't beat. The blood isn't flowing, therefore, the vampire's heartbeat is slower. Which means, vampires can't have blood transfusions like humans can. Because of the blood not flowing."

Eunchae tenses up at the sudden mention of vampires, why would a human biology teacher mention vampires? "The blood is thicker and doesn't move as quickly. So the vampire can't receive a blood transfusion. They're basically dead, if their heart isn't beating."

Eunchae closes her mouth her grin disappearing in an instant. Garam glances back at her, worry written all over her face. Eunchae's eyebrows twitch, she can't help but feel slightly pissed off. The teacher continues explaining the biology class, but she can't focus.

It wasn't important anyway..

Who cares if he mentions vampires.. It might just be a coincidence.. "The blood is also- Oh that's the sound of the bell. Well then, let's continue another time.." He says as he places his notes down. Eunchae sighs and places her hands on her cheeks, before leaning her head on the desk.

She feels someone slap her back softly, and she jumps up, startled. "Let's get out of here." Eunchae heard someone say. She looks behind her, and sees Wonyoung. "I didn't sleep well last night.." Garam sighs softly, as they make their way out of the school.

"Ugh... It was such a pain in the ass this morning! I mean, what the fuck? They made us wear the school uniforms in class!" Wonyoung complains, and Eunchae throws her head back looking up at the sky and huffing loudly. "Ugh! I don't want to wear it! I hate wearing it!"
