Ruby was holding her parents' hands as she was walking between them while Five was showing her and Elena around the room. Since the plan was that they were gonna live in The Academy after they have stopped the apocalypse until they have found something else, Five thought it would be good idea to show his wife and daughter around the Academy.
"How big is this house?" Elena asked "Big" Five replied "It's like a castle" Ruby said as she looked around "Are we gonna live here?" she asked "Well, your mom and dad need to stop the apocalypse, but otherwise, yeah. This is where daddy lived before he ended in the apocalypse" Five said "And we are gonna live here now" Elena said "Cool" Ruby said.
The three entered the living room and the couple spotted a portrait hanging on the wall above the fireplace. It was a portrait of Five. He was sitting on a chair, his hands was folded and he was looking straight ahead.
"That is you, dad" Ruby said as she pointed on the picture "Yeah" Five said with a nod "Why does your dad have a portrait of you hanging there, I thought he hated all of you?" Elena asked "I think he made it to remind my siblings to not made the same mistake that I did" he said as he was looking at the portrait.
"Dad, can I play with Flipper?" Ruby asked "Of course" Five said before he gave Flipper to Ruby who hugged it before she started running around in the living room, playing with Flipper.
"But I'm glad that I made that mistake, it was the best decision I have ever made, 'cause if I have not made that mistake, I would never have met you and we would never have had a family of our own" he said put his hand on her belly which 'cause Elena to smile.
"Why didn't you tell them about what will happen in eight days?" she asked "'Cause they probably wouldn't believe me. Their brother comes back with a wife and a daughter after have being gone for 17 years just to tell them that in eight days the world will end. They would think I'm crazy" he said "Well, if you're crazy so is I and so is Ruby" Elena said before she looked at Five "Maybe they would believe it if I also told them that it was true, 'cause it is, we spend over 20 years in the apocalypse. I mean we met there, fell in love, had Eva and Ruby" she said "I don't think it would help if you also told them 'cause they have trust issues" he said.
"What a family you have" she said and he smiled "Yeah what a super dysfunctional family" he said before he looked at her "And you are part of that family now" he said "Great" she said sarcastically "Hey, you knew what you got yourself into when we decide to become husband and wife. You became part of that family, beside you carried and gave birth to two Hargreeves member and now you are carrying the next one. So you are family now" he said and she smiled.
