Leighton looked up from the screen her and Emerson were watching, staring intently at the brunettes focused eyes. They'd settled in for bed and locked the door to their bedroom (not wanting anyone to walk in and out Leighton) a few minutes before and were watching Indian Matchmaker.
"It's rude to stare," Emerson giggled, looking down at the blonde who laid on her chest.
"Sorry, it's just.." Leighton snuggled further into Emerson's sweatshirt. "I think you're my favorite person."
"That's pretty sad, Leight, you've known me for like a month and a half," Emerson giggled, making Leighton roll her eyes dramatically.
"I'm serious. I really like you."
"I like you too." Emerson beamed as the blonde closed her eyes on her chest.
For the first time in a little while, she felt content.
