Eleanor woke up with a weight on her chest, literally. In the middle of the night, Taylor had wrapped herself around the athlete and ended up using her as a pillow.
She was frozen, unable to even comprehend the fact that she hadn't even had a proper shower after the game. How was Taylor even in this position with how gross Eleanor must have been. Her skin was itching with the need to get a shower.
Slowly, she attempted to detangle herself from Taylor. The blonde, on the other hand, was persistent even in her sleep. She held on for dear life, her leg hooking around Eleanor's to try and trap her. Eleanor tried to pry it off of her, but it was useless. Then Taylor's leg twitched in her sleep, her knee almost hitting the right—more like most definitely wrong place—and Eleanor knew she had to get out.
Using all of her available strength with only one arm free, Eleanor managed to pull up Taylor's leg just enough so that she could slip out of bed.
Unfortunately she underestimated Taylor and her solid grip on the front of her shirt.
The athlete tumbled to the ground, taking the blanket with her. Her shirt, though, was still in Taylor's hand and no longer on her body.
"How the fuck are you still asleep?" Eleanor mumbled to herself as she stared at the sleeping blonde.
Taylor mumbled something unintelligiblly and let out a soft moan before curling up, the shirt in her hand now clutched to her chest.
Eleanor may have watched the blonde for a moment too long before picking herself up off of the floor. The alarm clock next to her bed displayed the time as seven-thirty am. Definitely time for a shower. So she made her way into the bathroom, reading to wash off pretty much every thing that had happened since she stepped onto the pitch yesterday.
The brunette was back in the bathroom brushing her teeth when Taylor woke up. She was definitely not where she was supposed to be and the shirt she was holding was definitely not hers. How fucked up was she last night? She hoped she hadn't done something stupid and gone home with a douchebag. Her clothes were still on and intact, so the was a good sign.
She sat up, scanning the room with her eyes to try and find any clues of where she was. God she hated getting blackout drunk.
The shirt in her hands gave no clues as it was just a simple red t shirt. She threw it aside and it landed on the dresser. Taylor stood up, immediately regretting it with her massive headache. She punched the bridge of her nose and held her breath, trying to prevent the hangover from getting any worse. There was a picture on the dresser and once her headache was at bay, she let out a breath and squinted to try and make out a face.
Her body tensed when she recognized the people in the picture. It was Hawk, Izzy, Anthony, and Eleanor. She was in Eleanor's bed?!
The sink in the bathroom started running and Taylor frantically looked around, unsure of how to get out of the situation. Had she slept with Eleanor? She couldn't have, she was in her same clothes? Did she tell Eleanor her biggest secret?
God she really hated getting blackout drunk.
Her head was still pounding, so standing up was not an option. Instead, she looked around the room. She couldn't help but be curious about the gorgeous brunette she had grown fond of.
Her room was very revealing. Various movie posters adorned the walls along with pictures of her family, friends, and teammates. The floor was a mess with soccer gear and blankets that had been kicked to the side and forgotten about. There was a record player in the corner, a box with records spilling out of it right next to it. Curious, Taylor slowly got out of the bed and made her way to the records. She sifted through them. They were mostly soft rock records or indie records, but three stood out prominently.
