Raised in a cultish, religious orphanage, the people there obviously worshipped God, but more specifically, they worshipped the Angel Gabriel.
Their goal seemed to be to create the second-coming of Christ, though little did they know, they were being fooled by a false prophet. A curse, or demon that had taken the form of an Angel.
[f/n], as a child, was coerced into a ritual, to become a vessel for "God"(Jesus), made to go through phycological warfare and physical torment.
[f/n] is likely not affected by age or anything else normal people need to survive. (hunger, sleep, thirst, whatnot.) Though he can become malnourished and dehydrated, his body refuses to let him die from it.
