The sun hide away

Replaced by the storm of today

The light is turn down

Letting the darkness shine

Don't play this game

I carry the weight of my shame

Drained by the weather

Of being a liar

You can't see I hurt too

Because of what I put you through

So don't judge me when you see me cry

Alone, in the mud, under the rainy sky

But, if one day, you're ready to forgive

And see behind our past, your will

Can meet mine in the in-between

Where the grass turns back green
