Maverick eyes wandered then he worried hit him when he saw that Bambi was facing down in the snow. "Bambi?" Maverick called out. 

Everything felt fuzzy when Bambi opened her eyes, she saw that she was in the snow, "Maverick?" Bambi called out. "I'm here." Maverick said as Bambi sat up and saw she was tangled in the parachute. She quickly got untangled as she was heading to Maverick, she saw a helicopter in the distance then she reminded herself that they were in enemy territory.

"Mav, we need to get out of here." Bambi said with worry.  Maverick looked back as he saw the panic across Bambi's face. "I agree with you." Maverick said, as Bambi helped him get out of the parachute. Then They began to shooting at them, the both of them then took off running and then dive to hide behind the log. Bambi thought of her dad, he must be in panic. Then the helicopter turned around and faced them. Before they knew it, the helicopter ended up in flames.

Then both Bambi and Maverick sees Rooster's and Thumper's planes, who then got hit by SAM's. "Dagger Two and Bait come in." Moose's heart dropped. Bob sat in the back, heart ache.

"No." Bambi mumbled, panicking for a moment until she saw parachutes. "Holy shit." She muttered and ran that direction as Maverick followed her. "Please let them be fine, Please let them be fine." She muttered as she ran. "You still behind me Mav?" Bambi asked. "I'm here Bambi!" He exclaimed.

They ran until she found him getting out of his parachute as well as Thumper. "Bradley!" She yelled as she gotten closer. "Maria! Are you alright?" He asked. "Yeah, are you?" She asked as she gotten closer. "Yeah." Rooster said to her. "Good." She said as she then pushed him on the ground. "What the hell. you ass!" She exclaimed. Thumper and Maverick looked at each other. "Yep... saw this coming, I wish I had some popcorn." Thumper as Maverick looked over at her with a look.

"Maria, what the hell?" He says angrily as they both threw their helmets onto the ground. "What are you doing out here?" She questioned him angrily. "What am I doing here?" He questioned her back. "Maverick and I didn't take those missile so you two could be down here with us, you two should be back on the carrier by now!" Bambi shouted. She was in his face even thought she was much shorter then him.

"Thumper and I saved your lives!" He yells then getting on her level. "I saved your life so did Maverick! That's the whole point, whet the hell were you thinking!" She exclaimed as she backed away.  "Maverick told me not to think, you three!" He exclaimed back. She nodded knowing that he was correct on that. He throws his arms up as she took a moment to catch her breath then they made eye contact. Bambi pressed her lips onto his, "What the hell? When the hell did this happen?" Thumper questioned. Bambi and Rooster smiled at each other. "That day this crazy ass chase me down from base to my house." Rooster said. Thumper smiled. "Everyone saw this coming." Maverick said. "Even old Scoob."  Thumper said, the four of them chuckled. 

Then worry hit Bambi, "Are you alright?" Maverick asked her. "My Father, he must be worried sick about us." Bambi answered Maverick. "He is, He is the reason why Thumper and I are down here with you and Maverick, Cyclone wanted us to come back to base and your father lost it, begging one of us to go find you and Maverick. I couldn't leave Maverick and especially the woman I care about out here." Rooster said. 

"You, you saved me Bambi." Thumper said. "Of course, your my best friend, well like a sister, I couldn't risk seeing my best friend getting hurt." Bambi said. Thumper smiled. Thumper looked at Maverick, "My dad would like to see you, after all, you broke orders to help guide him back to base." Thumper said. "You know about that?" Maverick questioned her. "Of course, my dad goes on about it, he's thankful that you and Goose came back to help guide him and Merlin back." Thumper said. "Most importantly, he'll be thankful that you helped Bambi, Rooster and I get back home safe." Thumper added with a smile, which made Maverick smile back at her.

"So do we have a plan to get out of this?" Rooster asked. Bambi looked at Maverick. "You got any tricks up your sleeve old man?" Bambi asked. Maverick nodded. "Just follow me." Maverick said as they followed him.

"You're not serious?" Bradley questioned the man. He looked through the binoculars, "You gotta be kidding me. An F-14?" Bradley said as he looked ahead. "Myself and Ghost shot down MIGS in one of those." Maverick commented.  "You don't even know if those bag asses can fly." He said to Maverick, Thumper nodded. Bambi looked at him, "Well... let's find out then." Bambi said as she got up making her way to the runway as Maverick and Thumper followed. "Bambi!" Bradley whisper shouts after her, "Okay.." He said to himself as he got up and followed them.

They start walking through their runway, Bambi was nervous going through there. "There's guys up there, Bam" Rooster points out to her. "Yep..." She responded. "Then there's more over there." Rooster points out the other direction. "Alright... Let's start running then shall we." Bambi responds. "Yeah... run." "Pick up the pace Thump." Maverick said to Thumper. "Woah, I know the old time machine just didn't go there" Thumper spatted as the four of them approached the planes.

Bambi looked over everything, she sighed. "Damn...They both need gas." Bambi said then the four of them got to work on connecting to the hoses to get plane started. "I got the flying, you can be WSO." Bambi said as she and Thumper was getting ready to board to make sure everything working fine. "You got this?" She said as she pointed out the hoses. "Yeah but you sure you got the flying down." He asked her and she chuckled. "I am Ghost's daughter, I got this Roost." She assures him and he smiles at her. "You got this?" Bambi asked both Maverick and Thumper. "I got this kid, you do too." Maverick said and she smiled sightly. "You know it!" Thumper exclaimed. Bambi smiled as she sat down in the plane, looked at the thing in front of her. "How in the world did they fly this?" She questioned herself. "How's everything looking Bams?" Thumper asked her.

"Everything looking alright Mav?" Bambi called out. "Yeah, it's been a minute." Maverick told her. "Yeah, he's ancient just like these damn things." Thumper said as Rooster chuckled at her. "You know your father and I flew together." Maverick said to her sternly. Thumper threw her hands up in the air.

She looked at everything, she sighed at relief when she saw Gas and things were increasing and almost full. "Everything looking good, you can start unconnecting the hoses, let's go home." Bambi said to Rooster and Thumper as she and Maverick started getting the planes started up. As soon got the hoses off, Thumper climb in behind Bambi as Rooster climbed behind Maverick, The both of them looked at what was in front of them. "This thing is so old." Rooster said. "Tell me about it." Thumper said. "I know this thing is prehistoric but you'll figure it out." Bambi said to the both of them and They both nod at her. 

She and Maverick pulls the planes out then looks ahead. "Damn... they really destroyed this thing." Bambi muttered as she looked at the crumbled runway. "Damn." Thumper commented. "Both runway are cratered. How are we going to get these museum pieces in the air?" Rooster questioned the both of them. She thought for moment, then shook her head. She looked over at Maverick, she slightly smirk while Maverick nodded as they pressed the buttons to bring the wings out. Rooster looked out and noticed the wings, "Why are the wings coming out, Mav?" He questioned Maverick. "Bambi, what the hell are you two doing?" Thumper commented. She smiled a bit. "You'll see because.." She answered. 

"Maria and Mav, this is a taxiway, not a runway. This is a very short taxiway." Rooster says to the both of them. "I agree with Bradshaw here." Thumper said. Both Bambi and Maverick smiled a bit. "I know, just hang on." She tells them both as she starts to accelerate. "Holy Shit!" Both Rooster and Thumper exclaimed as she and Maverick took off quick. "Here we go!" She exclaimed "Holy shit!" Rooster exclaimed as they barely make it over the bridge then losing their front wheels in the process. "Well that went well, let's fly these fossils and get home." Bambi tells everyone.
