junghoon sat silently in his room staring at the ceiling. feeling nothing but sadness wash over him.
" dayu? "
" yes? "
the sound of her voice came from his phone.
" do you think you'll be better? and leave the hospital. "
dayu sighed and held the phone to her ear.
" i hope. but, i don't know. "
junghoon felt the huge lump in his throat grow worse.
" i miss you. so much. "
" me too. "
the girl shifted in the hospital bed and pulled the covers to her chest.
" are you doing okay? "
junghoon spun in his desk chair while continuing to stare at the ceiling.
" i couldn't be worse. "
" junghoon, you should try and get used to both having me around. because, you never know what could happen to me. "
he shook his head and rubbed his red rimmed eyes.
" no, don't say that. i don't want to think of it right now. "
" but junghoon- "
" i have to go. "
junghoon hung up as soon as the tears started escaping his eyes.
he grabbed his keys and ran out of his room.

dayu was sitting up in bed, looking around the white, isolated room. she was about to go insane, she hasn't seen anybody for the longest time.
all of a sudden she heard an elevator ding outside of her room.
the door to her room slowly opened, revealing her favorite person in the whole world.
" junghoon? "
the boy pulled her up from her bed and into a hug.
" don't leave me. "
dayu rubbed his back as he sobbed.
" junghoon don't cry, i'm right here. "
she broke the hug and wiped the tears from his eyes.
" you're too strong to cry. "
junghoon melted into her touch and held her hands.
" i love you. "
the words rolled off of junghoon's tongue like magic.
" i love you most. "
" we should go somewhere. "
dayu laughed and hit his chest.
" go where? i have to stay here stupid. "
" come on, just sneak out. the doctors won't even notice. "
she gave him a look as he smiled brightly.
" where are you taking me? "
junghoon grabbed her hand and swiftly pulled her out of the room.
" you'll see. "
