THE NEXT MORNING CAME BY VERY QUICKLY, SO quickly that I didn't have enough time to prepare myself that I was in the car on the way to school
My nails anxiously held in my mouth as I fiddled with them try not to fully bite them off
"Calm down Thea. Worrying isn't doing any good"
"What if they think i'm a freak?" I muttered pulling my hands away from my mouth and onto my lap
"They won't" I looked at bella with a 'for real' expression and she sighed "You'll make friends and no one will think your a freak"
"But they did last time" coming up to the school we both went quiet which I assumed was because Bella had nothing to reply to that, because it was true
And it didn't help that it was March, the middle of a semester, so everyone had already had set their friendship groups
The loud noise of the truck put the attention of the students around on us already making me and Bella feel like we are being watched
Me and Bella exited the bright orange truck once we had pulled up
"Nice ride" a darkskin boy said the the pair of us. Bella looked over to him
"Thanks" she said before coming up beside me. We both walked up through the parking lot, barely making it inside he school before someone else spoke to us
"You're isabella and Athena swan, the new girls. Hi, i'm Eric the eyes and ears of this place. anything you need, tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on?"
"We're really more the suffer in silence type" Bella spoke for us and I nodded
"good headline for the feature. I'm on the paper and you guys are news, baby, front page" my eyes widened and they met Bella's who was sharing the same mortified look
