What is love?❤️
Love, it's said, is found with your other half.
The one who fills your imagination,
And leaves you in utter speculation.
But what if your love is impossible?
For the conditions you are in, may not be favourable.
And everything you've dreamed of remains to be just dreams.
At least, so far, that's what it disappointedly seems.
It's a one-sided attraction,
To my knight gleaming with perfection.
I am the secret admirer;
Please take heed, be a listener.
Listen to the drops of blood,
As it puddles and floods.
I'm the girl holding on to the impossible,
Hoping to turn the impossible possible.
We are divided by too many reasons,
The slightest being the different seasons.
You are successful, the love of many;
While I'm down here, surviving on a penny.
Your halo shines brighter than heavenly light;
While I try to hide, try to stay out of sight.
From grass to grace, what great luck;
While my burdens crush me, they come in bulk.
I'm writing this as a way to console,
My heavy heart, my fading soul.
You have no idea my feelings exist,
But my stubborness urges to persist.
My expectations in a cage so cold,
But I know not the reason, why my heart is so bold.
I still see you on the blinding screens,
Lost in the buzz and the deafening screams.
It's an impossible love, my heart can't cope;
But to meet you someday is my greatest hope.
If that's our fate, I won't force you to stay;
But on that date, please don't push me away.
If you can't hear my voice, hear my desperate heart.
Take away this pain caused by a spell you cast.
I know you didn't mean it, it wasn't part of your plan;
Don't worry, I'll take care of me and be a faithful fan.
I might be sad, lonely and sometimes goofy;
But I hope you are happy, thriving and living fully.
