"Yes, I know that he's my ex but can't two people reconnect?" Lee Felix is at it again, explaining to his best friend why him talking to his very big-of-a-red-flag ex is justified "Felix for fuck's sake no! You've done this too many times! stop going back to him" Minho groans in his seat as Felix sulks too, crossing his arms over his chest and looking away from Minho. they're seated in the cafeteria of their school and chattering over lunch about how Felix texted back Hwang Hyunjin, his ex, last night. Minho can't stop going off about how foul this is and Felix can't stop defending himself that it was just a friendly chat "I only see him as a friend" he sighs deeply, shoving a bunch of fries in his mouth

"Bullshit"

Minho calls rat on his lies and Felix can't help but feel his cheeks redden at the way he's been caught. that was the biggest lie he's ever said, him seeing Hyunjin as just a friend? complete nonsense. Felix can't answer with anything now, he's pouting and Minho clearly feels bad as he leans over the table and ruffles his friend's hair 

"You know I only say this to keep you safe. he broke your heart, he's not worth it" his tone is strict and Felix's eyes are set on the sandwich in front of him "He didn't though, we ended things on mutual terms" Minho clicks his tongue at the brunette male, they've been here a few too many times and Minho knows the brunette enough to understand that he has not moved on even a slight bit from Hyunjin

"yea right, mutual terms, he proposed the idea of breaking up and you agreed because you had no choice" Well, that was true as well and Felix hates just how accurate Minho's statement is. "have you forgotten the night? need I remind you again best friend?" Minho cocks a brow when Felix looks up at him and shame falls over him again, his stomach squirms just by remembering the fateful night when he was sprawled over their dormitory's bathrooms floor and crying his heart out, sobbing like a child and wailing about just how much it ached to not belong to Hyunjin any longer, how there was no point in life and he should just disappear. It's both embarrassing and hurtful to remember as he sighs and takes a big gulp of juice down to ease the heaviness in his chest

"What's up losers"

Felix squints his eyes as he realizes just whose voice that is; Kim Seungmin, another one of his dear friends and scolder as well. "Same old, same old" Minho mutters when the boy takes a seat next to him and looks over the two of them, waiting for either of the boys to speak up but none of them does and it sparks curiosity in him "What's going on" he mumbles, eyebrows furrowed as he judgmentally gazes at Minho and the disappointed look on his face before moving to Felix and reckoning the guilty look on the brunette's face as he very visibly avoids Seungmin's eyes. 

Usually, the boy would smile at Seungmin brightly and even provide some psychical affection which Seungmin will pretend to hate but eventually give in on because come on, who could resist Lee Felix and his damningly stunning pleading eyes? Especially when he uses his beak of a pair of lips and forms the cutest pout on planet Earth
