Katsuki grows up believing he is better than everyone due to the fact that he was lucky and not only got a quirk but a cool one at that his childhood friend...
Katsuki usually was given a hard time at work due to the fact that well he was an omega without a mate at that he was smaller then damn near everyone in his work field and was the first of many omegas to become a prohero even some of the guys working there didn't agree or support the fact that well he was top five out of all the pro heros and an omega, it didn't make sense omegas we're supposed to be weak and submissive but Katsuki was the opposite so others began to think something was wrong with him
Katsuki was currently sitting in his office filling out paperwork as he did almost everyday after patrol it was getting later into the evening and at this point the guy just wanted to go home
After about twenty minutes or so his door opened and In came Kirishima his well he wouldn't say best friend but you get the idea he sat down on one of the chairs in front of Katsuki's desk he looked up from his paper to glare at Kirishima before actually saying something "what do you want shitty hair." He looked back down at his papers after finishing his sentence "I need some advice and I have a question about work.." he stared at the top of Katsuki's spiky hair since well he was looking down
"I'm listening" this time he didn't even bother to look up at the red haired alpha continuing his work "so me and Mina have decided that it would be ok for her and me to spend my rut together but the thing is I don't think she's actually ready yet and I don't know how to address it.." he finished hoping Katsuki would actually give him advice instead of ignoring him like usual the omega huffed and continued the conversation with a response for once
"Ok you can't keep coming to me about omega advice. There is more to me then just the fact that I am one and secondly just ask her if she tells the truth ok is she doesn't oh well it's her funeral.." Katsuki responded to which Kirishima sighed knowing the smaller male was right before continuing what else he had to tell him
"And the other thing was about the Deku case I don't know if you got the forms or not yet but I honestly am a bit freaked out about it and-" Kirishima began to talk but Katsuki was no longer listening it was like his world froze when he heard that awful name he let go of his pen hearing that one name play over and over again in his head did they find out he was the reason Izuku died..? Was he getting fired by shitty hair at that! No this couldn't be possible how the fuck does Kirishima know who.. well.. he is! Katsuki thought to himself as he started breathing heavily not knowing what to do
This confused Kiri and he was getting worried he got up and walked over to Bakugo "are you ok? What's going on man?" Kirishima questioned before realizing that Katsuki began to shake and his breathing was getting heavier Kirishima instinctly moved his hand onto Katsuki's head and began to pet his hair remembering that it use to calm him down back when they were dating
"Hey it's okay breath.." he bent down a bit in order to see the omegas face hoping that what he was doing would help after a little bit and some deep breaths Katsuki began to calm down once he had processed what he had heard he began to speak again "sorry.. what were you saying about..the case?" He didn't like to say Deku he didn't even like to think of that name since the disappearance
"We have a new case to work on for someone named Deku. The higher ups don't know exactly what's going on but they need us to check it out there is a guy who has been going around killing people and spray painting the name "Deku" on the walls before leaving and they need us to investigate okay?"
Katsuki was now confused because well Deku is dead or so he assumed so there was no way it was well him that could be doing this honestly he would rather have gotten fired then deal with this case. "Do they know what they look like..?" Katsuki asked curiously in order to make sure it wasn't the guy he was thinking of "No that's why they are sending us" Kirishima responded bringing his hand away from the blonde's hair
"Okay.. when do we start this mission..?" The omega asked "Tomorrow afternoon" was Kirishima's response Katsuki took another deep breath before continuing "if it's not to much could you take me home?" Katsuki asked this whole thing had him freaked out and the thought of running into Izuku was not something he wanted to experience
To which Kirishima smiled and nodded the two left the office shortly after that it was quiet not like an awkward silence more like a comfortable silence since well Katsuki did still feel safe around Kirishima he use to be his Alpha after all once they got outside to Katsuki's car the two got in Kirishima drove while Katsuki seemed to be well out of it in the passenger seat
The ride to Katsuki's house was quiet he was a bit embarrassed asking his ex to take him home was kinda pathetic if you asked him but he brushed it off and waited for them to get to his house once they were there Kirishima parked and asked if it was ok if he took the car to get home which Katsuki agreed and walked inside his house and closed the door he sighed and was happy to be in the comfort of his home once again
He walked to his room to get some clothes to shower and when he turned the light on he couldn't help the gasp that escaped his lips being shocked and stunned at the sight in front of him..
