Katsuki's eyes fluttered up a bright white light instantly hitting his eyes making him shut them back and rub them once again opening his eyes squinting a bit as he adjusted to the light "Katsuki you're up!" Kirishima said with a toothy smile hugging his best friend "ngh.. hey shitty hair.." Katsuki said allowing his friend to embrace him as his memories of yesterday slowly came back "I'll go get the nurse! Wait here!" Kirishima said rushing out the room Katsuki thought his comment was kind of dumb because where the fuck if he going to go Katsuki looked around the room taking in the boring scenery of the hospital room that he unfortunately had to be in "where tf is Izuku.." Katsuki mumbled to himself once he remembered what had happened that morning as moved his hand on too his chest hissing as he touched the gun wound that had been wrapped
A heard the door open seeing a man in a black suit pants and a white button up shirt along with some brown dress shoes following behind him was a shorter women with pink hair dressed in a nurses uniform Kirishima coming in shortly behind him "good evening Bakugo!" The pink hairs nurse said walking towards the blonde as she began to check his vitals and things of that sort "how are your feeling?" She asked glancing at him "fine." She hummed in response while Kirishima on the other hand looked nervous "Hello Mr. Bakugo I'm sure you know who I am I just have to take a few minutes of your time." Katsuki had heard of the guy before and seen him a couple of times on the news so he knew he was some kind of famous detective or something like that "mhm ok.." "So do you care to explain what you were doing with one of Japans top criminals..?" The brown haired man asked looking directly at Katsuki his stare would send shivers down most people's spines with his cold gaze but Katsuki wasn't scared he was surprised calm actually "no I don't actually" "You don't what?" The detectives contorted to a confused look "I don't care to explain" "Mm I see.." the detective stood up and walked out the room not that Katsuki was just getting off free like that because that was no where near the case he just needed to get some more evidence in order to make an arrest
"So it seems as your are fine we would prefer if u stayed in the hospital longer in order for us to make sure your wound heals properly but it is not mandatory" she said with a smile getting a nod in response as she left the room as well yes Kat was shot in the chest but not in the heart and luckily the bullet missed any other vital organs so over all yes Katsuki was fine "Gonna at least tell me why you were there..?" Kirishima asked looking down "There isn't anything to tell." Katsuki said grabbing his phone going threw it in order to text people back or just see what exactly the media had thought about the situation if the news's wasn't already out "So the fact that you were with the guy we've been investigating for almost a year now and ran away from the cops with him isn't something to tell?" Kirishima said getting slightly pissed off
"No i don't actually because it is plainly non of your business." The blonde responded seeing all the rumors that were spreading around about him and the still unidentified villain "Deku" his mind was racing with thoughts he was worried about Izuku he could care less about his best friends feelings at this moment he just wanted his Izuku back he just wanted to know if he was ok but there was no news stating where we was or if he was even alive
"Fine be that way then do you at least want me to take you home?" Kirishima asked as irritated as he was he will always be a good friend to Katsuki even if the blonde didn't do the same and Katsuki himself felt as if he didn't deserve such a friend "if it's not a problem." Katsuki responded not even looking up from his phone as his mind raced "ok Kat" Kirishima sighed leaving the room in order to get the car and check Katsuki out once the red head left the room Katsuki got up and grabbed the clear bag containing his things in it on the dresser assuming he wasn't fully under investigation yet as these things should be in storage at a police department he went into the bathroom attached to his room and changed his clothes once he was finished he sat down on the bed and allowed his thoughts to wonder
Until Kirishima had came back and the two left the hospital and got into his car the car ride to Katsuki's house was quiet and the tension between them was tense no one spoke until they were pulling into the driveway
"He's an old friend.." Katsuki said looking down as he had decided to tell Kirishima about Izuku
"Hm?" "The guy I was with he's an old friend.. when the investigation first started I didn't think it would be him so I never said anything but I was wrong.. it was him and when I finally got in contact with him I couldn't bring myself to turn him in.." "But he's a villain Katsuki he's a danger to the city this all could have been avoided if you just did your job." Kirishima responded annoyance lacing his voice as he spoke turning his head in order to look Katsuki in the eyes as they spoke
"Don't you think I know that! I love him to much to do that to him though you don't understand Deku is an amazing person and I know this isn't what he wants.. or I hope it isn't.." "hope this is what your basing this off of your hope! You could lose everything Katsuki do you not understand that!!" "Of course I understand that but it would be worth it he deserve it after everything I put him through!" Katsuki said tears welling in his eyes as he spoke "What did you do..?" Kirishima said confused grabbing his hand and rubbing his thumb over it in an attempt to calm the blonde down "I don't want to talk about it just promise you won't tell anyone.." Katsuki said looking up at the red head with glossy eyes "I-.." it got quiet for a second "Ok Katsuki.." Kirishima said letting go of his hand and getting out the car Katsuki watched as he walked to his side opening the door for him "I assume you don't want to be alone tonight?"
The blonde smiled and nodded as he got out the car walking towards the front door with the red head "I'm glad we're friends shitty hair." Katsuki said wiping his tears "me too" Kirishima responded nudging Katsuki with his elbow
The two went inside the house ordering takeout watched a movie and enjoyed their food Kirishima slept in the guess room as Katsuki slept in his own
That night the blonde went to sleep happy but worried about what the rest of the days to come had in store for him..

HI I told you guys last chapter wasn't the end stop jumping to conclusions sillies 🙄 sorry by the way I've been getting lazy with my writing as I simply haven't had motivation and I wanted to enjoy my winter break as well as I assume you did too merry very late Christmas and happy early new years!!
