4. The Bonfire

I contemplate on going for a second until i get another message from Jeremiah

Jere and i have always had a flirty friendship, the kind where people can't tell if we're just best friends or dating, but Jere and i always knew that we we're joking but Damn how could i say no to sour patch kids, and besides this might be fun.

I went down stairs to ask mom if i could go to the bonfire with the guys and she allowed it so i went upstairs and started to get ready, i did my make up and started to pick out an outfit but didn't know what to wear, it was in occasions like this that i need my bestfriend Madison, she always knows what to wear in situations like this, i just think what would Madison do

I decide to wear black denim shorts a white top because i don't wann be overdressed but also don't wanna be underdressed

But god i hope there aren't any pedophiles there, well if there are I'll just bark at them that always works. Jeremiah texted me that they we're about to leave so i walk downstairs to meet Jere in front of the door while Steven and Conrad wait in the car. Once he looked at me he stayed there in the same position with a kind of shocked expression so i slightly cough.

He then snaps out of it and says „ you look good, like always " he says „ thanks, you don't look to bad yourself " i said while winking „ uh um yeah so you ready to leave ? " he asks while once again looking at me up and down and then looking in my eyes „ yeah lets go " i said while smiling at his reaction. Once we headed outside Stevens expression was shocked and he immediately shook his head „ what are you wearing ? " he asked „ clothes ?" I answered while getting in the back seat next to Conrad because Steven the jackass already called shotgun Steven just rolled his eyes and sighed, because he knew i wouldn't go back in to change.

The whole car ride Conrad and i just played rock paper scissors shoot, it reminds me of the old times when we used to play it waiting in long lines at the grocery store or amusement parks, it was nice doing that with Conrad it was like our little thing, our bonding moment. After we got out it was already a little chilly i was definitely gonna regret not bringing a sweater later „ okay stay close to jere or conrad and don't talk to random guys and especially don't drink " Steven told me while walking away towards some girl „ you know I'm 16 right ? I'm not a little kid " i shouted back, god he can be annoying sometimes

I decided to ignore him and i headed straight to the drinks table, i grabbed a beer and started walking around a little, eventually i sat down next to the fire to try and warm up and thats when a guy sat to me i didn't wanna turn to look at him but i could tell he was brunette. It wasn't until i heard his voice that i knew who it was „ long time no see sie- sie " my mouth dropped and i jumped into his arms and hugged him as tightly as i could „ i told you to stop calling me that Elliot" Elliot was one of my bestfriends back at school until he moved away last year and i was not expecting on seeing him anytime soon.

„ i missed you soooo much but you're kind of taking my breath away" he said and groaned a little in pain, i let go and apologised while laughing „ what are you even doing here ? " i asked „ well you know my dads new girlfriend? Well they kind of got married last week and are in they're honeymoon so I'm supposed to be staying here with my aunt for the summer „ oh do we like this alleged girlfriend?" „ she's nice i guess but she's just like the last two "

I kind of felt bad for him, it must be hard having to move often because your dad gets a new wife basically every year.
We spent the rest of the night catching up and laughing until we wanted to go to the house to watch one of our favourite childhood movie together, i couldn't see Steven anywhere so i just assumed he was probably making out with that girl from before, shocked he could even get with anyone so i wasn't gonna ruin that moment for him and i also didn't want to traumatise myself by seeing that.

While i was looking around i saw Jeremiah already staring at me, no not staring but glaring and then i noticed it was not towards me, he was glaring at Elliot, it was the dirtiest look i have ever seen Jeremiah Fisher give, but why though ? He didn't even know Elliot i decided to just ignore it and keep talking with Elliot until i heard some shouting and i recognised Conrads voice. „ uh wait a second, I'll be right back " i said while standing up and waking towards him and some dude

And then i saw belly „ what is she doing here ? " i asked jere and he just shrugged and said she showed up a bit ago then i payed my attention back to Conrad and that dude, they started pushing each other „ fuck you bro " Conrad said, they kept pushing each other around while a circle of people surrounded around them „ you're not taking my fucking beer bro „ RELAX IT WAS ONE BEER " the guy shouted back, this is actually lowkey funny if you think about it because its so stupid „ YEAH AND ITS MY FUCKING BEER " Conrad shouted back

Before i could stop her belly stepped in and accidentally got hit in the face by the guys elbow making her fall on her face in the sand
„ Fuck " i whispered, me and Jeremiah gave each other a look as i ran over to belly and he ran over to brake up Conrad and the other dude, as i went over to belly i saw a dude go over to her uii i wonder who that is, I'll ask her later.

I went to Elliot and apologised for tonight and told him we should just watch the movie another time, on my way back to the car i was freezing „ are you cold ?" Jere asked me „ no it's actually super hot " i said sarcastically „ haha very funny " he said while taking off his hoodie making his shirt rise up just enough to see his v- line damn i think i was staring a bit too long because he coughed and handed me his hoodie „ aww jerry berry always such a gentleman " i said jokingly „ always for you" he answered

On the way back home we got pulled over by the cops but got let off easy, not by mom though, she was really disappointed wich is even worse than when she's mad because that means i actually let her down, that means she expected better from me because she trust me and i break that trust so she's disappointed, i like it way better when she's mad.
I went directly upstairs, plopped on my bed and fell right asleep
