"STEVE, LOOK." Mickey pointed towards the city, the mall flashing bright red and blue. "Guys." The two teens stood in horror as the other three jogged over towards them, looking at the same thing they were. The group quickly ran back to the device, the younger boy speaking into the mic.

"Griswold family, this is Scoops Troop! Do you copy? Over! Griswold family, I repeat, this is Scoops Troop. Do you-" Before the boy could finish, a loud screech came through the device. "Griswold family, do you copy? Do you copy?" A growl came out of the radio this time, Mickeys eyes widening when she realized they had gotten stuck in the mall. "Please confirm your safety! Are you en route to Bald Eagles nest? Someone please just answer! Just answer!"

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" Mickey didn't hesitate, grabbing the car keys out of Steve's pocket, running towards the car.

"Mickey, no! Where are you going?" Steve followed after the girl as she opened the car door, sliding into the drivers seat. The Harrington boy had gotten there just as she shut the door, hitting his palms against the window. "Mickey, don't do this! You can't go back there!"

"Like hell I won't. My sisters back there and I need to make sure she's safe. Come with me or stay here." The boy stood there for a moment before running around the car, getting into the passenger seat. Just as they were about to leave, the back seat door opened, Robin hopping in. "Is everyone in?" The two other nodded in response as the girl started the engine, shifting the gear to reverse. "Let's go."

"Mickey, don't tell me you're gonna do what I think you're gonna do!" The girl held onto the steering wheel with her right hand, knowing that this is what she had to do

"Mickey, don't tell me you're gonna do what I think you're gonna do!" The girl held onto the steering wheel with her right hand, knowing that this is what she had to do.

"I love my brother, but what he's doing is insane. Brace yourselves!" Just as Billy's car was about to hit the one in the lot, Mickey drove into it, knocking the Camaro off course. The three in the Cadillac jolted forward, the engine steaming as Billy's car caught on fire. "You guys alright? Robin, you okay back there?"

"Ask me tomorrow?" A sudden growl made the three whip their heads away from each other, looking over at the mall. The three teens gasped as they pulled themselves off of their seats, moving to stand up.

"No fucking way." The giant spider like monster was standing on the roof of the mall, a lot bigger than anyone expected. A car horn blared beside them, seeing Nancy in the passenger side, telling them to get in. Robin, Mickey, and Steve hopped out of the car, getting in the back of the other.

"Go, go, go, go, go!" Just as the car began to drive away, the monster stepped down off the mall, chasing after them. The three teens in the back tried to move around a bit, making more room for themselves but it was no use.

    "Dusty-bun, you copy?"

"I copy, Suzie-poo." The three in the back looked at the device, and then to each other, eyes wide. "It sounds much better now, thanks. Okay, so, listen, do you know planks constant?"

"Do you know the Earth orbits the sun?"

"Okay, so I know it starts with two sixes, and then a... what is it?" Mickey chuckled, not believing the Henderson boys girlfriend had been real this whole time. Steve looked over at her, the two sharing a grin as the girl on the radio spoke again.

"Okay, let me just be clear on this. I haven't heard from you in a week and now you want a mathematical equation that you should know so you can... save the world?"

"Suzie-poo, I promise, I will make it up to you as soon as possible." From inside the back of the car, the girl sighed, running her hand over the sling covering her left arm. A stinging sensation had shot up her arm, making her shut her eyes, trying to ease the pain by calming herself. From beside her, Steve and Robin watched, the Buckley girl motioning towards the Mayfield girls hand, and the brunette understood. The tall boy moved his hand over to Mickeys, holding her right hand in his, letting the girl squeeze as much as she needed to. "Turn around, look at what you see. In her face, the mirror of your dreams."

"Is he actually singing right now or am I going crazy? Isn't there like a time restraint on this whole fucking thing?" Steve grinned as the girl continued to keep her eyes shut, the curly haired boy on the radio continuing his song.

"Written on the pages is, the answer to our never ending story. Reach the stars, fly a fantasy. Dream a dream, and what you see will be. Rhymes that keep their secrets will unfold behind the clouds." The group in the car looked around in confusion and shock, wondering what the fuck Dustin was doing.

"If anyone dies because of this stupid fucking song, I swear to god." The Harrington boy nodded in agreement even though Mickey didn't see, rubbing his thumb over the back of her hand.  If they weren't driving away from a spider monster, Steve would've stayed like this for a long time, just being beside her. "Enjoying the view, Harrington?"

    "Planks constant is 6.62607004."

    "You just saved the world."

"No, you just made my ears bleed." The group in the car laughed, the Mayfield girl opening her eyes, the pain finally subsiding just enough for her to be comfortable again. "At least we know Dustin's girlfriend is real now."

"Not the way I wanted to find out."
