On October 6th, at the hour of sunrise, Anthor broke the short-lived truce with Eternia by launching three Super EMR bombs on Silver Keep, Mistmoor, and Valendia. The ones for Valendia and Mistmoor were intercepted by Eterinia's Defense Net and exploded before they could enter Eternia, but the one aimed at Silver Keep successfully detonated on the target.
The radiation energy that was a thousand times stronger than sunlight evaporated all the vampires and human slaves within the blast radius spontaneously, vanquished Eternia's defense line, and completely razed the city.
The vampire armies couldn't retaliate immediately as the sunlight was lethal to most of the neophyte soldiers, and the ogre armies were gravely diminished due to the human blood disease, and Anthor Army swept in and marched all the way to Thornwood. There they met pushback from the apostles from all different bloodlines.
It was a bloodbath battle, and to the vampire's dismay and surprise, humans' vampire targeting weapons became much more effective on them than before, likely due to the effect of the problematic human blood they'd consumed during the past four months. The EMR guns and canons, and even the silver blades, were capable of harming, debilitating, and even killing them.
At the end of the first battle, more than a dozen of apostles were killed, and it was something the world had never heard of. Even though Anthor had lost more than a hundred soldiers, it was still a big victory.
Anthor kept pushing forward, hoping to gain as many territories as possible before sunset, disregarding how many soldiers were crushed by apostles' preternatural magic powers.
Eventually, Anthorians' blood march was halted by one person.
Among the booming and blinding lights of the EMR weapons, the chanting and snarling of the vampires, the screaming and crying of the wounded ones, the moan of the crumbling mountains and the earth under the power of magic and massive destruction weapons, and the smell of scorching flesh, a pair of giant, magnificent black wings spread against the burning sun.
The unearthly alluring gleam flowed across each elegant feather and converged on the enigmatic dark figure in the center of the wings, and his irises were two rivers of flame. Invisible energies danced around him, lifting his hair and the hem of his long, black coat.
Humans and vampires soon noticed the silent but formidable being in the sky, and several high-energy canons were turned and aimed at him. Numerous blinding beams shot at him like a web of hellfire. However, the being was like an incarnated cosmic black hole, and all lights were trapped and absorbed into him. None could escape.
The vampires were exclaiming and cheering in elation.
"The King! The King!The King!"
Dorian raised his hands like a god, and a realm opened with his slow and controlled motion. The sky darkened as if the day suddenly turned into night, and all the high-energy weapons stopped functioning as the invisible wall of the realm enveloped them.
Human soldiers felt like something pierced their minds and slithered into the essential element of their existence, and as they screamed in absolute horror and agony, red tendrils oozed out of every hole on their bodies, and soon their skin was torn, shredded, exploded and transmuted into gruesome blooming flowers. Their eyeballs, hearts, guts, intestines, and muscles intertwined with bones and stripes of fleshes like a giant crimson chrysanthemum, yet the heart was still beating, and the muscles continued to tremble.
The realm expanded as far as the end of the city, and the human soldiers were either turned into the famous "Blood Flower," the horrifying magic Dorian was known for. The Anthor commander still wanted to try to push, believing that a Dorian couldn't possibly sustain a realm this big for more than one or two minutes. But as precious time passed, after half an hour, the Vampire King showed no sign of weakening, and eventually, the soldiers scattered in insuperable fear, disregarding their commander's order.
