2016 Sae:10 Noritoshi:12
"Why do you treat our mothers so badly?" Noritoshi said to the clan elders, tears brimming in the corner of his eyes. "Because both are noting but slutty concubines of the clan head, Sae's is even a foreigner" one old woman said
"Then how come you treat me so well?" Noritoshi frowned "Because his actual wife didn't produce any boy with the cursed technique of blood manipulation" The elder answered
"If anything the one you should feel sorry for is her," another elder said pointing to the ten-year-old Sae. "Her situation is tragic, born to a foreign concubine and on top of that, she has no cursed energy" the old woman mused as they looked at Sae who was leaning on the entrance to their room waiting for her older half brother to finish talking to them
Noritoshi was the only one out of the entire kamo family that treated her like a human except for her mother. Most either ignored her existence or bullied her relentlessly, especially her older half siblings that unlike her and noritoshi weren't considered bastards.
But that doesn't mean her and noritoshi were treated equally, he was going to be the next clan head, so despite being the product of an affair aswell, he got special treatment
"Such a shame, why do we even keep her around? She's a stain on our families name" and elderly man spat
"Shut up you old rag" Sae sneered as everyone in the room gasped one of the elders getting up and grabbing her by her hair making the child scream out in pain
"We'll teach you a lesson, you and you're disgusting mother" the man spat as he threw her into a dimly lit room. "Noritoshi! Help!" She wailed as her older brother watched from the door conflicted
"I'm sorry Sae," he frowned as one of the clan elders patted his head shutting the door and leaving the young girl in a room full of curses, kicking a cursed tool towards her "If you're lucky you might be able to use this to survive" they spat as the closed the door
It had been hours and guilt was eating Noritoshi from the inside , the wails of Saes mother could be heard throughout the entire estate, until they came to an end, "poor woman, her only child dead" Noritoshis mother frowned as Noritoshi watched from his window as he saw some of the clan's soldiers bring out Saes mothers corpse, it seemed she'd killed herself, slit her wrists.
"Oh dear.." his mother said with tears in her eyes as she covered Noritoshis eyes. He couldn't take it anymore, at the very least, both mother and daughter should he buried together he thought as he raced to the room they'd locked Sae in, opening the door expecting to see the corpse of his half sister only to find her sitting up, a gash on her left cheek and no more curses
Had she really managed to exorcise all those curses with just a cursed weapon?
Without sparing Noritoshi a second glance, Sae made her way out of the room leaving her stunned brother. She waltzed into the clan elders room throwing their cursed tool towards them as they stared at her with bewildered looks "She's still alive?" One whispered
