Moon, Woods and You

When clouds obscure the moon's celestial light,
We hold the moonbeams, woven dreams afar,
For stars may twinkle, distant and bright,
Yet in each other's arms, we are the star.

Though forests deep, with secrets they enshroud,
We hear the peacocks' echoes in the air,
Their cries remind us of a world endowed,
Like memories of you, beyond compare.

And just as the moon hides, then shines anew,
The forest whispers secrets, ever near,
You too, remain within my spirit's view,
A love untouched by distance or by fear.

Though time may part us, still, you'll ever be,
Entwined in memory's embrace, set free.
