Foretime Fondness: Lost in Time

In ages past, where chivalry did dwell,
A realm of true love's ardor brightly shone,
When hearts would meet, and tales of passion swell,
In bonds of trust, two souls would be as one.

Yet, now we find a world where love's confined,
Lost in the haze of modernity's rush,
In fleeting moments, hearts are oft maligned,
And feigned sentiments we oftentimes crush.

With screens between us, love seems to evade,
Authenticity replaced by mere show,
In pixels, emotions lost, they soon fade,
True love obscured, like shadows in the glow.

In tweets and likes, affection may appear,
But fleeting as a summer's passing breeze,
The depth of love, it seems, is lost in fear,
As modern minds forget what love should be.

But still, a glimmer lingers in our hearts,
A yearning for a love that's pure and true,
Let's rekindle the flame as it restarts,
Embrace the love that once our forebears knew.

For in this changing world, we must reclaim,
The essence of true love, its sacred flame.
