LENI

After Mom announced that she was pulling Lynn away from sports, the entire room went into chaos. Mainly from Lynn who was still trying (and failing) to convince Mom to change her mind. It honestly sickened me that she still wanted to play these games that basically tore our family apart. Don't get me wrong, we aren't blameless in this situation, but she played a huge part in how everything played out. Though our fath...no, demon in human skin also pushed Lincoln to the edge.

"Come on, Mom! Sports are..." Lynn started to say before Mom cut her off.

"SPORTS ARE THE REASON WHY EVERYTHING HAPPENED!" She yelled causing everyone to jump. At her outburst, the others stayed silent for a while before Lori asked a question.

"Mom, can you explain why you think that sports are to blame for this situation?" Lori said softly.

"It's because Junior became obsessed with sports thanks to your father...no, that monster. I wanted to make her see reason and that it was perfectly fine to lose at games, but Lynn stopped me. He thought that making her believe in those so called sports gods and that she was always number one would help make some money when she gets older." Mom said.

"M..Money? I...no, we don't understand. Why would he need money for?" I asked her.

"I also fail to understand why he needed it. I mean, he already got his dream restaurant and is successful." Lisa stated.

"I'm also confused on why he needed it. Believe me, I tried to ask why he needed it, but he always ignored the question or walked away." Mom said.

"That seems kinda odd, but we're getting off topic. Is that why you blame sports for everything?" Luna said.

"Not entirely. This situation got out of hand and we made some questionable and possibly illegal decisions during this entire period." Mom said.

"But Lincoln..." Lynn started again before I cut her off.

"Can you stop trying to push the blame onto Lincoln? Sure, he shouldn't have lied or broken our stuff, but we are all to blame for everything that happened." I said.

"Leni..." Lori began before I started talking again.

"This night has just been one big disaster and instead of banding together and trying to figure things out....we are just ripping each other apart. We also lost Lincoln thanks to the monster that our father turned out to be." I said with some tears coming down my cheeks.

"Let's just calm down and..." Luan started to say before I cut her off.

"NO! I don't want to stand here listening to excuses. This family has become the worst and honestly...It's better to think that we're strangers who are were given the same room." I said before I walked out of the room. I could hear the others call my name, but I kept going.

As their voices got distant, I looked up to the night sky and thought:

I hope that we'll see each other again, Lincoln.

LINCOLN

I stared at Tiffany and Chucky with mixed emotions since it has been years since I've seen both of them. I missed them everyday, but I tried to show it in my old home. After all, my family (no matter how complicated our relationship is at the moment) wanted me to date Ronnie Anne. They never let me even look at another girl unless I wanted them to suffer at the hands of their pranks.

"Lincoln?" Tiffany asked snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Sorry for kinda zoning out there. This night has just been...crazy for me." I said while looking at the mess that was still on my body and clothes. I couldn't help, but be disgusted by it since it was running through my veins. A cruel reminder that I was related to that monster who I used to call my father.

"It's fine, Lincoln. After some more kills..." Chucky began to say before Tiffany shoved her elbow onto her side. Those words and Tiffany's strange action made me raise an eyebrow. It was almost like they were hiding something from me. After spending time with ten sisters, it's easy to pick up if they were hiding something...though my sisters were pretty bad at hiding things long term.

"As Chucky was saying, we understand how you feel Lincoln. Things like this never get easy so maybe...." Tiffany began to say before Chucky cut her off. She was about to ask why before I noticed some lights in the distance.

"Oh no." I said while feeling my blood run cold. The cops were on my trail and when they catch me...I could spend time in prison (juvie). If I thought dealing with Lynn's antics was bad then this is really really bad. I can just imagine the older kids picking on me inside there and how tough my life will be once I get out. Before I could continue thinking about how my life will be for now on, Chucky picked me up and started to run away. Tiffany also ran with us and seemed to be kinda annoyed.

"Chucky?! What are you..." I started to ask before she cut me off.

"Lincoln, we'll talk later. Right now, we need to get out of here and get you some fresh clothes." Chucky stated.

"Then we need to think of an escape plan." Tiffany added. As the two continued to speak, I felt like my life would never be the same again. Never knowing how right this statement will be as the years went by.
