Chapter 1

Even though the year had just began . Hadrian was not having the best time . The Divination Professor - Sybill Treleway had just issued another prophecy and EVERYONE was talking about it .

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝙲𝚑𝚘𝚜𝚎𝚗 𝚘𝚗𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚜 

𝙷𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚙𝚘𝚠𝚎𝚛 𝚝𝚘 𝚌𝚑𝚊𝚗𝚐𝚎 

𝙸𝚏 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚠𝚒𝚣𝚊𝚛𝚍𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚠𝚘𝚛𝚕𝚍

 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚟𝚎𝚍 𝚘𝚛 𝚛𝚊𝚣𝚎𝚍

Not fun ! since everyone knows he is the supposed Chosen one . Even himself . Ever since the first dream, he had been plagued  by many other dreams and even memories of a man named - Luke Castellan -

Ok fine . 

of a man named - Sherlock Holmes 

FINE ! FINE ! 

Of  a man named- Ignotus

Tonight was like every other , another dream. Gosh ! He felt like a demigod from the Percy Jackson Series .

“ Cads , listen to me ” said Ignotus . His brother looked at him with red eyes , “ She's gone ! ” he sobbed

“ Brother ...” came the voice Antinoch

“ Don't brother me !” snapped Cadmus , “ Give me the stone !!” he growled out

“ Cadmus !” yelled Antinoch , “ Just stop ” he exclaimed , “ It's a bad idea ” he added

“ Oh shut up ! ” snapped Cadmus , “ Go dual someone on the streets ”

Antinoch looked offended , “ Fine then , maybe I will ” he snapped and walked out

The whole household had been messed up. Arguments were often. 

But that was the last night they would see Antinoch .

Hadrian woke with a gasp , his roomates were fast asleep due to the silencing charm out around his bed .

He rubbed his eyes and drank some water . He sat back on his bed and looked around the dark room.

“ Come out Than . I know you're there ” he said , not lifting his gaze above the ground

“ Hadrian . .  It is necessary you know all this . The truth ” he said . Hadrian nodded sadly , “ Tell me the story ”

“ Wha–  huh ?” asked Thanatos

“ Tell me the real story ” pressed Hadrian

Thanatos nodded and sat beside the boy

“ I  had blessed Iona Peverell with my powers . She was a wise woman who stood against gender inequality, plus she managed to evade me for years . I was impressed by her work and let her live longer ” he started

“ Her grandchildren , Antinoch, Cadmus and Ignotus  ” he said sighing , “ Were good people ” he added wistfully

“ Then came their time ... ” he trailled off

“ and they didn't want die ” interjected Hadrian

“ They felt the world still needed fixing ”  replied Thanatos , “ You already know what they wanted . They died as it went in the story . ” he said quickly

“ But ?”

“ But ... ” trailled off Thanatos , “ They had changed ... all bus Ignotus ” he said in a concluding tone

“ Oh ” was the only thing Hadrian could say

“ Oh indeed and the Oracle has issued another prophecy ” he said

“ The Oracle ??”

“ Yes ” said Thanatos , “ Well the prophecy involves you and that Life girl ”

“ Luna ” answered Hadrian and Thanatos nodded

Chosen of death and Chosen of life
Must wait for a sign and then
Will embark to find a ressurecting gem
When strings will be twined
And the two combine
Then shall they prevail
Else they shall fail

“ Not confusing at all ” muttered Hadrian and Thanatos chuckled , “ Well then I have to go reap some souls . Bye !” he said and dissapeared into the shadows.

Hadrian did not sleep that night , instead he snuck out and looked at Lake.  He watched as the water churned and felt a sense of bliss pass through him .

“ I suppose you heard the prophecy too ” came a melodic voice . He opened his eyes to see Luna sitting beside him with a smile.

“ Yea ” he said , “ We gotta find the ressurection stone ”  he added

“ But it was destroyed, wasn't it ?” questioned Luna

Gifts are never truly destroyed . Came a voice in Hadrian's head . He blurted out the same sentence and Luna raised a brow at him .

“ I - I don't know .. ” he admitted , “ A-a voice just spoke in my head ” he said

Luna giggled , “ It's fine ” she said , “ Though, when should we start with the supposed quest ”

“ Once we figure out how to be in two places at once . Without disrupting time ” replied the raven-head

Luna hummed and stood up . Hadrian followed her as they walked towards the library , somehow avoiding the patrolling prefects and teachers and Mr Creep .

They waltzed right into the restricted section , again , was everybody blind !

“ No , it's a spell life thaught me ” said Luna , with amusement in her eyes

“ Wicked !” exclaimed Hadrian

( No not the Wicked-  World In Catastrophe: Killzone Experiment Department . Just the plain ol' English one )

They found a book , a veryyy old book . In complete movie style, Luna skimmed through the pages until she found apage titled , ‘ To split one's self ’

The two grinned at each other and then looked at the window.  Let the adventure begin !
