In the days that followed the intense meeting with friends and colleagues, Christian had set the plan into motion. James Jenkins had become an inconspicuous member of the Red Bull team by the time the Spanish Grand Prix arrived. Charles, though plagued by guilt for keeping this secret from Alexandra, clung to the belief that he was doing what was necessary to protect her. The weight of the situation bore down on him as they arrived together at the bustling paddock for media day.

Charles was on edge, his thoughts racing with the complexities of the plan and the potential consequences. As they walked side by side, Alexandra couldn't help but notice his odd behavior. Concern etched on her face, she gently asked, "Amor, is everything okay?"

Startled, Charles snapped out of his thoughts quickly, forcing a smile as he replied, "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit distracted, that's all."

Alexandra studied him for a moment, clearly sensing that something was amiss, but she chose not to press further. Instead, she changed the subject, her voice warm and caring. "I was thinking of grabbing a coffee with Max before the media madness starts. Would you like to join us?"

Charles hesitated, then declined with a strained smile. "Thanks, Mon Amor, but I've got a meeting with Mattia. Catch you later, okay?"

They exchanged a tender kiss before parting ways and heading into their respective team garages. Charles's heart was heavy with the weight of the secret he was keeping, and he couldn't help but wonder how long he could keep this deception going without it taking a toll on their relationship.

Alexandra entered the AlphaTauri garage to find Pierre in high spirits, his enthusiasm for the upcoming race evident. His cheerful demeanor was infectious, and Alexandra couldn't help but smile as she greeted him.

"Hey, Pierre. You seem extra excited today," she remarked, appreciating the positive energy.

Pierre nodded with a grin. "Yeah, Lexi, it's just one of those days, you know? Feeling good about this race."

Their media manager, Paulo, appeared at that moment, clutching a clipboard with their packed schedule for the day. As he began to read it out loud, both Alexandra and Pierre groaned in unison, sharing a knowing look. They were in for a busy day of media obligations.

"Alright, first up, you'll be participating in a fun game of 'Guess Who' for our fans," Paulo announced.

Alexandra and Pierre exchanged playful glances, and then laughter filled the garage as they prepared to film the segment. Despite her best efforts, Alexandra soon found herself on the losing end of the game, with Pierre emerging as the victorious guesser.

"Well played, Pierre," she admitted with a grin as they finished filming.

Pierre shrugged modestly. "What can I say? I'm incredibly intelligent."

Alexandra rolled her eyes and punched him in the shoulder playfully. As the filming wrapped up, she couldn't help but notice Max standing just outside the garage, waiting for her.
