It was a sunny day in California. The beach was quiet. Suspiciously quiet. But at the time Lily didn't make much of it. Bring in her early twenties she still has much to learn in the world.

She has always been antisocial, not one for human interaction. She never really had any friends. She had acquaintances, but nobody that she could really call a true friend.

She has a part time job at a nearby grocery store where she is constantly harassed by customers for things. But none of that matters now, it's Saturday, her one day off. And she is going to spend it on the beach.

The sun was shining, currently 11:40. No clouds were in the sky, everything was beautiful. Lily set her handbag down and laid out her beach towel. The sand shifted between her toes as she stepped. After a long day of work, she earned this.

About an hour into the sunbathing Lily grew hungry. She woke up and reached for her bag. Strangely what she touched wasn't a bag, it was someone's hand.... 'SOMEONES HAND?!' She thought in terror.

She shot up but it was too late, the creep had her handbag and was running off. "HEY!" Lily exclaimed in freight. "THATS MY MONEY!!"

Lily shot up and began to give chase. Surprisingly hard to run on the sand. The crook managed to get onto the nearby dock and disappear behind a boat.

Lily arrived at the docks exhausted. She leaned over and put her hands on her knees and breathed heavily. "Have-to-find-my-bag."

Lily caught her breath and began looking around. The thief went to the boats. Maybe he is hiding in one of them.

The wind began to pick up a little bit and a few clouds rolled in. "That can't be a good sign." After a few more moments of looking around Lily saw the thief aboard a nearby boat. "HEY!" She yelled and pointed at the man as he retreated into the lower section of the boat.

Lily boarded the boat and followed the creep into the bottom of the boat. But when we went down, there was nobody. Her bag was on a small dining table in the middle of the room.

"Phew, thank goodness." As she went to grab her bag, the entire boat shook. And a whirring sound rocked the boat. "W-wha!?"

As she turned around to go back up top the boat started moving. The guttering movement threw Lily around as she scrambled her way to the top deck.

When she got to the top, the boat was moving at a high rate of speed towards the open ocean. "Oh God I'm being kidnapped of God oh no."

Lily panicked, she looked over the edge but if she jumped off she might not survive. Not to mention the impact of the moving water but also who knows what is in the ocean that could eat her.

She looked at the bridge and saw a man standing there staring the boat. It wasn't the the same person from earlier. She ran up to the man. "Who are you?! Why are you doing this?!"

The man didn't react at first, but slowly turned around. He was an older man, mid 70s ish. "Oh, I'm sorry my dear.... I didn't realize you were on here." Lily recoiled because of this. 'he didn't know I was on here?' She thought.

"W-well, someone stole my bag and put it down below. I didn't mean to stow away." Lily said, just hoping the old man wouldn't be mad. "Please just take me back to shore."

Lily turned around, there was no land in sight, they were going EXTREAMLY fast."Oh I'm sorry my dear, I will bring you back right away, in the meantime just go relax below deck."
