A new kind of relationship (sal x travis)

convenience store

After sitting and cuddling on the couch both Sal and I decided it was definitely time for us to eat something.

"So what do you feel like eating?" Sal asked whilst looking around in the cabinets

"What do we have?" I asked

"Hmmmm.. we have bread? I think.." sal mumbled the last bit

I let out a little giggle at that

He joined in soon after me

Our giggling soon turned into full blown laughter.

"W-we need to go buy some food-" sal managed to say through his laughing

After calming down a bit i responded with

"Yeah, I agree. But aren't the stores closed?"

"Not the convenience store.." sal mumbled while still going through the cabinet.

"Okay it's decided! We are going to the store" sal said

"Heh, do we need anything else?" I asked

"HmmmmmmMMmMMM..." Sal mumbled

"What about cigarettes?" He added on

"Wait don't you need to be over 21 to buy those??? Do you have a fake ID or something??" I asked

"Nahh, but the dude that works the night shift always sells to me, hes probably high mire than 88% of the time" sal answered

"Oh, okay!"

After that we both went around the apartment to see what we needed to get, or what we could get from the convenience store at least.

And we managed to make a somewhat okay shopping list which included

buy this---

Soda
Cigarettes
Popcorn
Toast
Strawberry ice-cream (because chocolate is overrated)
Sour candy
Frozen pizza

After the list was finished we started to gather the money that Sal's dad had left for him considering he was going to be away for work for quite a while.

When we were done we both gathered all of it on the kitchen counter to count it

"50 dollars" sal said after counting his finds

"Hmm I've got.. 56 dollars" I said

"Oh that's good! We can buy stuff later too then" sal said smiling at me

After we put all the money in a small wallet we both got ready, and by this I mean sal put on his prosthetic and stuff
And I just brushed my hair and put on a long sleeved shirt to cover my cuts,

"You ready?" He asked after we finished putting our shoes on

"Wait! Is it cold out?" I asked

"Uhhh.. I don't think so" sal responded

"Here I'll grab you your sweater just in case " he said walking into his room and coming out with my infimous purple sweater.

"Thank you.." I said blushing

"Of course Travis!" He responded

After walking out and moving towards the convenience store we started small talk, not the kind you would indulge in with a family member that you haven't met for a long time, but something much nicer less.. Awkward

"Oh! Look we are here!" Sal said pointing towards the glass door

After walking in and gathering all the things on the list we walked up to the cashier

"Will that be all?" He slurred

Turns out he wasn't just high but drunk aswell

"Oh! And 5 packages of #### cigarettes too please"  sal added on with a clearly fake goody two-shoes voice

"Sure bruh" said the drunk cashier

He placed the cigarette packages with our stuff,

After paying for everything we walked out into the dark evening air

"God damn it's cold.." I shiverd

"Here," sal said while handing me my sweater

"Thank you.."

"Of course!" He said

He opened one of the new cigarette packages and handed me one after lighting it.

"Heh thank you" I said for the 5th time today

He just nodded at me.

After a while we were back at sals place

We put all the goods in the fridge or cabinet, depending on where it's supposed to be stored of course.

Then we both got ready for bed and went to lay down.

"Hey sal?" I asked unsure of if he was actually still awake

"Hmm?" He responded

"I love you.." I said

"I love you too Travis.. now get some rest okay?"

I nodded, fully aware of the fact that it was way too dark for him to even be able to see me.
