Thankfully, with summer being here, Lisa got in contact with her and offered her a place to stay for the entire time. Little did she know, she was getting herself into some crazy ghost shit. And she was especially not ready for him. (This story is loosely based on the game! nothing is exact of course, but the characters are the same and obviously anything that goes on in this story doesn't have to correlate with the plot of the real game! generally, I see the characters as adults, the older versions of themselves still living in Addison Apartments with their respective families!) If a flap of a butterfly's wings causes a hurricane,,, What does a hurricane do? Sal Fisher, a boy diagnosed with severe depression who listens to metal. Most people think he might have gotten his life together. Travis Phelps, got diagnosed with depression as soon as he was able to leave nockfell. Most people hope he just died. What do they have in common? They both seemed to disappear right after graduation.

(Cover art by me) After a strange but clarifying conversation in a grimy school restroom, Sal sets his eyes on befriending Travis and discovering the gorey details of him as a person. However, Sal gets a little too close, and some dreadful feelings arise. Now the issue is trying to figure out how to drop the hints without "incurring Travis' wrath", whether that would actually happen or not. Meanwhile, Travis struggles to keep himself from fighting these changes. Everything is new, his brain is very stubborn in trying to reject it. He can't understand why he suddenly wants to follow along, and he hates that he does, but he lets it happen. Unfortunately this doesn't come without consequences. OK ew cheesy description this is an "AU" where it's just SLIIIGHTLY more realistic. Like, without big snot monsters and shit, and the cult isn't as powerful. So, not much different, but more room for a happy ending. Also sal's pagan, cause why not? ⚠️‼️ This will contain: depictions of domestic abuse (obviously), alcohol abuse, self harm, intrusive thoughts, disordered eating, planned murder, death threats, homophobia (obviously), conversion therapy, drugging, and memory manipulation. Loads of angst. When I actually end up writing it. Which is probably gonna take a while. Because writers block. Enjoy :3
