"Just a little ma"I said and I received a hot slap from Charissa in return
"Are you crazy? Just a little??do you want to die or what?"Charissa yelled at me. What's with this girl and yelling na
"Sorry ma"I replied crying "it's still manageable please"I begged them
"Who wants to manage"Carissa said to me while kicking me
"Ahhhhh" I screamed and fell on the floor because of the pain "please ma, I'm sorry,it won't happen again"I begged them but the wicked children did not even bulge a little
"Call mummy,just call mummy no need to be wasting your time"Charissa said to her sister
"Please don't call her ,please I'm begging you with the name of God please"I begged crying because I knew it would be worse if my stepmom was to find out but as usual, they didn't even listen to all my pleadings
"Shut up you stupid girl, fool, idiot ......shebi you were making mouth like parrot this afternoon,we will see the mouth you will use to talk once mummy finds out"Charissa said to me
"Hello mummy.....you won't believe what this stupid girl called Amanda did......."
I watched in tears as Carissa called her mother to report a small incident that happened and even adding some lies to spice it up and I knew I was dead
Few minutes later I heard the front door open and I knew my step mother was home
"Amanda!!! Where are you useless girl"Patricia yelled
"Mum were In the room"Carissa yelled back to her mum
Patricia entered the room with three horse whips(koboko) and distribute it to her children and they start whipping me. They didn't stop despite all my tears and pleadings and they whipped me until I had so many bruises.
After several minutes of whipping me, they stopped but that was not the end.
They took me to the bathroom, stripped me naked,use soap and water to rub my body and began whipping me again.
It took a lot for me not to loss consciousness.after some minutes in the bathroom, they took me to the iron table,and used hot iron to press my face and my body parts.
All this because I burnt small indomie .is this how life is?what did I do to deserve all this
"Mum I think that's enough for today let not kill her"Charissa said to her mum and they let me go
"Try that rubbish again and I will send you to wherever you parents are. Stupid girl. And see, for one week,you must not eat anything In this house you hear me" Patricia said to me
I was too weak to reply so I just nodded my head to what ever they were saying to me until they left me and I went to my room to continue crying and I fell asleep one the process.
