Chapter 8 : MoRan's First Meet

The scene starts with the Shergils entering the Mahajan Mansion. The Mahajans greatly welcome the Shergils. Both families sat down.
Sooraj : Namasteji.
Suhasini : Namaste, Sooraji.
Sooraj : Aap Suhasini Ji haina? Aap se mera baat huyi.
Suhasini : Ji. Mai Suhasini Mahajan. Monami ki daadi.
Sooraj : Mai Sooraj Shergil. Karan ki Daada.
Faizi(whispering to Karan) : Janabji, ladki ki naam Monami hai.
Ka : Do you think I don't know?
Fa : Just informing.
Sooraj : Toh hum saari introduction karle.
Suhasini : Ha bikul.
Suhasini introduced the Mahajans to the Shergils. Sooraj then introduced the Shergils to Mahajans.
Sooraj : Aur yeh hai Karan. Aur yeh hai Faizi, Karan ki dost.
The Mahajans look at Karan. Karan touches the feet of the elders. The Mahajans were quite impressed with the manners of Karan.
Lata : Humere beta Karan. Bohot sanskari hai. Saab ke sath accha se baat karti hai. Kisi ke sath koi jhagra nahi hai. Humesha smile karta hai.
Faizi coughed hearing it. Karan looks at him.
Juhi(passing him a glass of water): Arey beta thik ho?
Faizi : Ha, aunty.
Karan(whispering to Faizi) : Kya hai, saand?
Faizi(whispering back) : Actually Karan Shergik aur smile.
Karan gave him a death glare.
Pakhi : Aapki beti ki baare mai kuch baataye.
Juhi : Princess hai humere beti. Hum saab usse koi princess se kaam nahi treat karte hai. Par iske matlab yeh nahi ke Monami ki koi spoilt baccha hai. Humere beti sirf dekhne mai nai dil se bhi accha hai. Humesha dusro ki maadat karti hai.
Deepak : Ha. Saach batao to aaj bhi aisa lagta hai ki kuch din pehle he Monami yeh ghaar mai aaya. Aur aaj hum usski shaadi ki baat kar rahi hai.
Lata : Yeh to har ek ladki ki kismaat hai. Sanskrit ki rit hai.
Virat : Saach batao, ladki papa hona bhi aasan nahi hote. Jis ladki ko humesha pyaar diya woh ladki vidaai karna bohot mushkil.
Keerti : Par hum itna kosish to kar sakta hai ki jab hum kisiki beti ko ghar le aate usse baahu na maan kar beti jaisa pyaar de.
Everyone smiles & nodes at Keerti's words.
Surekha(chuckles) : Hum bhi kaise batao mai lag gaye. Naasta kijiye na?
All nodes and start eating. The Shergils were quite impressed with the food, especially with the Kheer.
Faizi : Vaah aunty! Kitna tasty khaana hai. Aur yeh Kheer to world ki best hai.
Karan : Ha saach mai bohot accha kheer hai. Jisne banaya uski haat mai koi magic hai.
Pakhi : Kissne banaye?
Naira : Monami ne.
Everyone's smile gets wider especially Karan's one.
Faizi : Mere taref se bha......(Karan gives him a death glare) I mean Monami ko thank you bool dena iss kheer ke liye.
Deepak : Tum he bool do. Keerti, Monami ko lekar aao.
Keerti : Ji.
Keerti goes upstairs to bring Monami. Meanwhile the Shergils & Mahajans were chit chatting.
Deepak : Waise Karan tum to commando ho, haina?
Karan : Ji uncle.
Deepak : Kaunsi post?
Karan : Special Agent.
Sooraj : Humere family mai almost saab commando hai.
Deepak : Mai bhi ek commando hu. Col. Lieutenant Dr Deepak Mahajan.
Sooraj : Accha.
Karan was just smiling at their chit chat but inside he was nervous. His attention was in the stairs. Through Karan was excited to meet Monami but he was confused about what he will speak to her. Karan takes out a handkerchief from his pocket and wipes off his sweat caused due to nervousness. The scene shifted to Monami's room. Koel & Keerti helps Monami with her saree for the last. Monami looked herself at the mirror and took a deep. She remembered Sid's words. Koel & Keerti blink to assure Monami. The trio goes towards the downstairs. Karan sees the trio. He saw a girl with silky hair wearing a orange saree. Her face was not visible to Karan due to her hair. At last, Monami stood in front of the Shergils with a smile out of excitement, nervousness and what not. Karan could guess the girl in the middle with the saree is Monami. On the other hand, Monami was a little confused about which guy is Karan. Keerti makes Monami to sit in the sofa.
Mo(whispers to Koel) : Mujhe seriously pata nahi hai kaun ladka hai? Kuch kaar na. Photo bhi nahi dekha.
Koel nodded.
Ko : Hi! Myself Koel Roy. Monami ka friend. Btw if you don't mind yeh paar ladka kaun hai? Actually maine photo nahi dekha.
All look at Karan.
Ka : Hi. Karan Shergil.
Monami looks at Karan. Her first thought about him is that he is very good-looking.
Mo(in mind) : Yeh ladka hai? Dekhne mai to bohot hot. Par khaados type ki laag raha hai.
On the other hand, Param was thinking that he saw that girl but was not sure. Just then, Baby notices Monami & runs to her.
Baby : Kaise ho Dr. Friend?
Monami : Saumya! Tum yeha?
Baby : Aap yeha! Wait aap mere hone waali chaachi ho.
Monami blushes a little hearing it. On the other hand, the whole family including Karan was confused. Param goes towards Baby.
Param : Tum Monami ko kaise jaanti ho?
Baby : Yeh mere Dr. Friend hai. Park wala. The one who saved my life.
Baby then takes Monami's hand and brings her in front of Karan.
Baby : Dr. Friend, this is my bff. Maine kaha tha.
Monami looks at Karan. They both couldn't believe it. How small the world is? They both have spoken to each other before on the phone. Their chains of thought was broken by Barkha.
Barkha : Thanks for saving by beti's life. I can't thank you enough.
Monami : Please ma'am. It was my duty. Doctor ki duty public ki health hai. Maine sirf mere duty kiya.
Karan was impressed with Monamo's answer.
Barkha : Mujhe ma'am maat bolo. Bhabhi bolo.
Monami nodes and looks at Karan.
Karan : Thanks.
Monami : Your welcome.
