Chapter 9 : Further Talk

The chapter starts with the Mahajans & Shergils talking among themselves. The Shergils ask few questions to Monami and she confidently answers the questions. The Shergils are quite impressed with Monami. Karan is also more than impressed. At one point-
Suhasini : Mujhe lagta hai Karan aur Monami ko akela kuch baat karne ke chance dena chaiya.
Monami and Karan become nervous hearing it. The two families agree to Suhasini's words. Faizi gives Karan a teasing look. Keerti tells Monami to show Karan her room. Monami nods. Monami takes Karan to her room. Silence is revealing between them. Karan thinks of breaking the silence.
Karan : Nice room!
Monami : Thanks.
Karan is noticing how Monami is nervous.
Karan : Hum agar aise chup-chap rahenge to I think accha nahi lagega. Let's introduce ourself at first. So I am Karan Shergil, a special agent. I am the youngest son of my parent. I have a love for cricket & football. And to be honest, I am a bit of grumpy.
Monami feels a little easy.
Monami : Hello! I am Dr. Monami Mahajan and currently is working under my family hospital. I have love for music, films & books.
After speaking about herself. Monami starts speaking about her family. How their family treats her like a princess. She even starts speaking how she is the matchmaker of Karthik-Naira's love story. She even starts talking about Karthik-Naira's love story. Karan is looking at Monami with awe. Karan can sense how much Monami loves her family & vice-versa. After some time, Koel comes.
Koel : Oh! Mona aur Karan aap dono ko bulay rahe hai.
Monami & Karan nodes. Koel leaves.
Karan : I don't know about your decision but if I ever marry anyone, it will be you. You are seriously different. I for the first time saw a girl who loves her family so much and talks less about herself. And not t8 mention you are intelligent & gorgeous. You're just perfect for me.
Hearing Karan's words, Monami blushes a little bit. They both go outside.
Suhasini : So, what's your decision?
Karan : I am ready.
Lata : Monami?
Monami : I-I am also ready.
Naira : Wow! It means rishta pakka. Badhai ho, families.
Everyone congratulates each other.
Lata : I think we should the Tilak ceremony in a few days.
Suhasini : I think it's better we wait to a bit.
Virat : Yeh perfect hai. Monami aur Karan ko ek dusro ke janna chaiye. I think we should leave by now.
Swarna : Itna jaldi kyu? Kuch der rukh jaiye.
Pakhi : Aaj nahi. Kisi aur deen. Waise bhi rishta pakka hogaya. Zaaror aayenge.
The whole family greets each other goodbye.

I am so sorry guys for not uploading for a while now. Actually, I am so busy with my studies that I didn't get time to give my time in writing. And also sorry for the short chapter. But I will try to upload quickly till then bye!!!
