It was a night of tenth April .The stars in the sky, The moon shining bright, The soft gentle breeze, The stillness of night .
Grace along with her family runt a long night being leaded by muhanga who known these regions better. They were focused in nkoto where there last hope lived . Mosquitoes were flying around their faces , landing and biting all over the place . High in the branches of the tall trees , ticks were waiting to fall on them in these crowded jungles .
Treating one mile where they were in the forest , the dogs runt over them . They runt quickly being followed by their barks and unluckily divine tripped on a stone." Don't leave me ! They will kill me " divine begged looking five dogs approaching her.
At the time kanzige returned back quickly pulling the stone from the red surface. Grace with child looked what was going on and returned also with stone. At the time there coward father was running non stop without any worry of his family. With dogs surrounding them there in a circle with their mouth wide open with sharp teeth grace also came . Remembering the way she treated the dog where she was maid she surprisingly calmed these dogs down .
" My daughter what have you done ! They gone !! Who taught you this ? " Kanzige asked with a surprised look.
" Mom I was a maid. Let's go the coward protector has gone " grace said.
Looking around all of them muhanga was not there . He had abandoned them. They runt quickly upon reaching him as the one who would lead them.
" Congratulations !! You have killed five wild dogs . Stop come here Where are you going ? You seem to have the direction . " Muhanga called them." Shut up you moron What have you done as a parent ? Do you take time and look at yourself at least?? " Grace loudly shouted at her father
Secondly it turned again into long conflict seeming to be fight but kanzige stopped them . At the time the times grace passed through allowed her to fear nothing.
" Ok go . Go where you need . I will not continue with you . " Surprisingly muhanga left with anger.
Kanzige remained begging for him to change mind but he was strict. He used to put all brame on her family suppressing all the anger on them.
There mother but she never stopped. Grace watched the way he was punching her but she calmed herself after all due to the life of her family and the child she was holding. Surprisingly after three other hours of braming each other , muhanga changed his mind. He then accepted to continue with them and they did. Early in the morning with slight darkness they arrived at there destination.
" Be kind . Her children are interahamwe . We need to stay far from the house they might kill us . " Muhanga ordered. They remained there hiding in the bush nearer to there large plantain farm about two hours until when they watched two boys along with their pangas and one dog with a lot of courage going to kill .
" Is that the family where we are going to reside " grace nervously asked.
Everyone there had no solution except for fear in their hearts with their trembling body." Calm down we will do it . All of them are my friends . They can't do a thing to us . Now we can go" After long time muhanga calmed them softly.
Directly after coming from the bush they met with the old lady while she was going out of her house. Approaching them and was so shocked that the can she had was thrown down and came closer to them.
" Enter the house quickly . Take the right room. " The old lady pointed before asking any question.
While they struggled entering the house the lady look left and right to see if anyone saw them and came into the room also.
" You are my blood . It is better to come here . But staying here may be more risky. my sons are harsh . Imagine that they even killed their father !! . I will convince them be right here ." The old lady ordered them .
