I groan as I roll over in my bed and switch off my phone alarm. I huff, trying to encourage myself to get out of bed. Eventually I give into my constant chants to myself and steadily get up off of my
comfy...warm.. bed...

"Y/N, HIJA!! HURRY UP!! IM GIVING YOU AN HOUR TO GET READY!!"

"Sorry mami!! I'll hurry!"

I set out the blue uniform onto my bed and head to the bathroom to take a nice, steamy shower. I switch off the shower and my music and change into my clothes. I walk over to my vanity and put on some light make up.

"Mhm.. a little more concealer there... ohh I missed a spot of blush...i gotta fix that...cause girly dont wanna be lookin pale..."

I pack up my necessities into the luggage bag I had packed the night before. I put on a necklace and some rings, making sure to spray on some perfume before making my way downstairs into the kitchen, practically hauling my luggage bag along.

"Cmonnn, put your luggage by the bottom of the stairs and come eat!! One of my old friend is coming over with her son."

I roll my eyes at the thought of company at such an outrageous time..I mean cmon, 8:34am???

"Her sons a year older than you and also joining your college, maybe you two will get along..?"

My mom give me that look..
and I immediately stuff my face with the luke-warm french toast on my plate, hiding my embarrassment

My phone vibrates from inside of my inner blazer pocket. I take it out and look at the notification from my group chat
