Chapter 22: The Fashion Queen New Objective

Ron had a hectic day today. He was supposed to go to Smarty Mart and purchase some new clothes but unfortunately the place was shut down due to a rat infestation. He would have to wait a week for them to reopen however, that wasn't an option as he's in desperate need for clothes.

His other option was to go to the mall but the prices there were overly pricey but he would make do with the coast.

Running from home all the way to the mall wasn't very smart but he missed his taxi and he didn't own any vehicles to drive. Luckily the mall wasn't far from his school and his home. Once he reaches his destination, his hair looks like a mess as it resembles a bird nest. He tries patting it down but his hair was too damp and dry. In the end he just gave up and simply tied it in a ponytail. Meanwhile his clothes were another story as it was drench with sweat.

Luckily for him, it was a holiday.

Ron looks at the doors intent to find the one person who can help him in his predicament. He set out to find Monique.

Meanwhile, Monique was in Club Banana attending a customer when Ron pops out of nowhere starting the girl. She places a hand over her chest to calm her beating heart.

"God Ron, do you want to give this girl a heart attack?!"

"Sorry to bother you Monique but I'm in desperate need of some fashion advice," he spoke to her desperately. Monique raised a brow. Ron seems better days as his clothes were drench with sweat and his hair looks rumple and knotted all over.

"Boy, what happen to you?"

"I... run all the way... to the mall!" he panted out of breath. Moniques eyebrow shot further, "You ran all the way... from home?"

"Yeah. There weren't any taxis nearby and I had to walk a distance until I can pick a ride close by but that vehicle didn't have any ac." Monique nods her head now understanding, "Okay, so what do you need my help for?"

"I need some clothes and a suit. Do you know where I can find good quality clothes?"

Monique grin all teeth, "My friend, you came to the right place. Club Banana has everything you need. From plain old t-shirts to strikingly good-looking jeans and gorgeous suits for men to wear," she twirls her body introducing him to the store.

Ron sweat drop, "And they prices are overly expensive," he said recalling the argument he had with Kim when she won't stop buying from here because this place is a big trend. He tries arguing with her multiple times that Smarty Mart has everything she will ever need but she never dear to enter that store and would never buy their products with the brand on it.

"What was that?" Monique questions stern looking at him.

Ron sweats up a storm looking into her eyes. He shrank, "Nothing!"

For twenty minutes the two had been buzzing like busy bees trying on clothes. Monique took a bunch of clothes from the racks and order Ron to try them on. He quickly relents not wanting to anger her again. He went into the changing room to change. Thankfully the sweat on his body and shirt had dispersed due to the ac. It would be problematic having to pay for all of them because sweat got into their garments.

So far Monique approves seven clothes and dismiss the rest as it didn't seem to match the sidekick. However, they still needed to get the suits.

Monique was tic off when Ron refuse to buy any suits in their store. According to him it didn't fit his taste. However, Monique only relents when she discovers to her horror a hole in the suit. She squeals and quickly took the suit in the back before anyone saw it.
