Chapter 28: Mission Find Ron Stoppable

Kim looks around his room and check the other rooms in the house. Everything was still in place except for the items in Ron's room. His bed was even neatly made which is impossible as she recalls that he never made his bed and think that he never had slept in it. What happen to him, she wonders. Was he kidnap? Rufus wasn't even in the house which shot her chances of finding information from him.

She ran over to her house and open the door widely. Mrs. Possible look up and was surprise to see her daughter. Wasn't she supposed to be in school? She was going to question her daughter on why she was at home and not at school when she catches her daughter's frantic look.

"Kimmie dear what's wrong?"

"Ron! I can't find Ron anywhere. He's not at home nor at school," her daughter burst into tears collapsing in her mother's arms.

"What," Mrs. Possible said widening her eyes. She held her daughter as she digests that her surrogated son is missing.

Kim and Mrs. Possible sat on the couch as her daughter explains what happen. She explained that Ron wasn't at home nor he was in school. He hasn't come back since yesterday which worried her. All his things in his room were gone. It looks like he just up and leave which is impossible as he would've said something earlier. All that was left was a small picture frame of them when they were kids.

Mrs. Possible also finds it strange. She knew Ron wouldn't leave without saying anything and suddenly her mind wonders back to when he had to move away from Middleton and live with his parents in Norway. Could his folks take him away without them knowing? But if that's true Ron would never leave with them after finding out the truth. Also, Kim said that all their things were still back in their place so it couldn't be it. Just what is going on?

Ron also has to go to court two weeks from now, how is he gonna be there if none of them can't find him.

In the meantime, Kim was devastated. She couldn't believe she had lost her best friend. Just when they were beginning to patch things up, he disappeared. However, a thought then occur to her. Wasn't he kidnap some days ago by Shego and Drakken? Are they holding him hostage again!

She raises her head and there with this fire in her eyes. She was very vengeful which spells bad news for them. They were about to have a rude awakening.

Shego and Drakken were in their lair and Shego was listening to music in her headphones. She snaps her fingers to the beats. Drakken was by his table laughing crazily maybe because he has another ingenious plan to take over the world unfortunately that idea went out the window when there was a ding and Drakken reach into his oven and pull up a tray of butterscotch cookies he made. He offered them to Shego who roll her eyes but still took one.

Suddenly there was a crash. When they look up Kim was standing there already gearing up for a fight. Shego looks at her and smirk before she jumps over there with her hands lit.

She begins the day with her usual banter trying to get the little princess all riled up but strangely enough the girl was silent. She didn't respond to anyone of her taunts.

"Ah, what's going on here?" she couldn't help but ask clearly seeing that her rival was not in a talking mood. Right now, she looks down right scary which she wouldn't admit not in a million years.

Kim's expression was dark, "Tell me where are you keeping him?"

"Him? Who, Josh?" Shego asks clueless.

"What? No! I mean Ron! Where are you keeping Ron, I know you have him somewhere." Shego and Drakken look at each other lost. They haven't done anything recently and Drakken was recovering from that painful wedgie.

"Ah come again?" Shego asks still looking clueless.

"Ron! Where are you keeping Ron?!" Kim asks growing frustrated.

"Ah princess none of us has him. Isn't he supposed to be stashed at home somewhere?"

Her nemesis didn't answer her but she lets out a maddening growl and storm out of their hideout. Shego and Drakken look at the retreating figure of their enemy then at each other. Just what is going on? However, they didn't dive into it more and return to what they were doing yet Shego couldn't help but be concern of the absent sidekick.

Kim did the very same thing she did with Shego and Drakken and pay a visit to all her villains demanding if they had taken Ron. All of them denied they had her sidekick after they cower in fear from an angry heroine.

After that she returns to school with a bitter look on her face upset that she doesn't have any leads on her friend. Monique, Felix, Zita, Tara and Bonnie all surrounded her noticing that she disappeared a short period of time only to return back. She explains what happen.

"So, baby boy is missing?" Monique says looking concern. Why did she had to blow off her friend? She should've listened to her and maybe they wouldn't be in this mess. Tara was covering her mouth terrify, "We have to save him!"

Bonnie fold her arms and raise a brow, "Are you sure he didn't just up and leave. We know this has happen before. Maybe his folks move away again." She was the only one in this school who haven't realize what happen with the sidekick and his parents.

Kim shook her head, "Ron wouldn't leave without saying anything to me... especially to mom and dad. Also, he will never leave with his parents. He hates them now. He also wouldn't leave at such a crucial time. The court is only two weeks away so something must've happened to him. I just don't know what."

Felix places a finger under his chin, "Hey what he was doing before he was kidnap?"

Kim turns to him confuse, "He was helping Logan deal with the mayor and he stayed behind after the neighbors host a party in his honor."

"Do you think Logan might know where Ron is since he was the last person to see him?" Felix inquires.

Kim was thoughtful, "I guess you're right."

They paid a visit to Logan and question him about Ron's whereabouts. Kim may have been a tad bit harsh on him. The poor boy shrunk under her furious gaze.

Logan spoke up, "No I don't know where he is. We parted ways in the middle of the party." Kim and the others sigh when they uncover nothing. "However," they look up, "I notice that he was acting strange that day. He seemed tense and that happen after meeting the cleaning company owner."

"Cleaning company owner?" Kim asks not getting it.

Logan nods his head also confuse, "I don't know what he saw but he was pale in the face. There was also something in his eye that I couldn't place."

Tara folds her hands together and look at Logan, "This company owner what's his name?"

"I think it was Zhang Chen."

"Chens Cleaning Services?" Bonnie raises a questionable brow, "Are we sure that's the one. What could possibly be shocking about the man," she asks already knowing the old man was a loser and a coward. The other shrug their shoulders.

Kim and the group now found themselves before the fallen structure that was the company. They faces were ashen. They couldn't believe it.
