iv. the girl

she

she's the girl that's always selfless
she's the girl that's never ruthless
she's the girl always doing her best
even though they couldn't care less
she's always trying to do what's best

but what if even she is tired of that?
she's tired of always doing her best
when she could never reach up to
what everyone else expects
so she starts to become
the girl that couldn't care less
about her own mental health
because no one ever cared
about what she

needed

and now she's always there
for someone else, just to help,
because she never got that
