Sydney's POV

Myself and Andrew went through the crowds trying to reach his car.

I felt like a tiny leaf in a stormy sea, and fear was creeping in.

I got pushed back, losing sight of Andrew in the chaos.

Panic was crawling up my throat.

I looked everywhere. I felt like I'm running in circles.

I don't go a second without bumping someone.

I give up. I just stood there. I was tired of running.

Hoping.

Looking for Andrew.

And the gunshots in the air

I froze when I looked up to see a guy in the distance with a gun pointed right at me, I have nowhere to run.

I caught my breath.

Just when the bullet sound was heard,  a strong hand grabbed my arm and yanked me away.

It was Andrew.

I've never been so relieved.

He pulled me behind his car, shielding me from the danger.

My heart was racing, I panted.

For a moment our eyes met. Something emerged from my stomach.

He reached down and opened the door of his car.

I nodded and got inside.

I finally let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

A few moments later he entered the driver's seat.

He turns on the car and 'tries his best' not to hit anyone.

"Where are we going?" I asked looking at him.

"My house" he answered calmly.

"What!? No" I protested, "I want to go to my house, NOW" I pouted like an angry kid.

"Well if they raided here, where it has over one thousand securities and bodyguards. That means they can surely get into your house. It's not safe there" he explained.

"I'm sure my house is just fine" I rolled my eyes.

"And you don't know where you're brother is, Wouldn't it be better if you wait for him to call you " he continued.

He had a point.

------------

We arrived at his house and I take it back...his house is amazing.

I just sat on the sofa in the lounge.

I stayed quiet because he was busy on his phone.

After what felt like an hour He put it down at last.

I walked towards him.

"Thanks" I glanced up at him.

"For what?" he shrugged.

"Everything you did for me today" I explained looking at the white marble tiles on the floor.

"No problem," he said.

"Are you okay?" Andrew asked looking at me.

"Yes, just tired," I shrugged. To be honest he had good taste in the house. Surpassing my original expectations.
