Luca's POV

"Leah," I said, "Mm" she hummed in response

"I wanted to tell you my cousin is coming on Saturday" I explained.

"Really?" she looked at me.

I nodded, "Okay." she smiled.

"She's very interesting, just so you know" I added.

"Interesting how?" she asked her eyes looking into mine.

"You'll see" I chuckled, "I still think she's probably adopted, her personality matches with no one in the family."

Leah giggled, "How old is she?" Leah asked. You could see the interest in her eyes.

"17, 18 or something" I shrugged. "I can't believe you don't know your cousin's age" she chuckled.

"I really don't know, I think she's 18. She annoys me more than talking to me, so how am I supposed to know?" I explained.

"She's annoying?" she asked turning around so her back faced me. I pulled her closer.

"More than anything" I replied.

"Sounds like she's gonna be my friend then," she said.

"Perfect" I answered sarcastically.

Aaliyah is the one person that annoys me so much but I can't do anything to her since she's family.

She knows that, so she uses it to her advantage to continue pissing me off in any way possible.

"Luca I forgot to tell you something" she said.

My curiosity piqued. "What is it?" I inquired whilst playing with her hair.

"I still have to attend Matteo's wedding," she confessed, her voice tinged with a hint of hesitation.

I felt a twinge of discomfort at the mention of her ex-fiancé.

I'd rather not think about it so I maintained my composure.
