Shattered

Well?

Once I heard the plane start, I got out of bed and walked to the window, looking at the time I saw it was thirty more minutes till Raven, Hailey, and Derek would take off. I sighed and walked to my house to get changed. After I took a quick shower I looked at the burns, they where almost completely healed, I smiled to myself before I felt something rip under the towel. Blood dripped onto the floor, slowly pealing away the now red towel I saw the gash on my stomach. I groaned and got some cotton bandages from under the sink. After I wrapped stomach back up I got changed. Reaching for a black turtle neck with long sleeves, it was a kind of running shirt. Also I got a pair of black pants with chain holders on the legs.

Brushing my hair out I hear the door open, Blackthorne walked in and smiled when he saw me. Walking over to me he wrapped his arms around me, resting his head on the top of my head. Slowly he rocked back and forth, I leaned into his chest and my wolf purred.

"I love you." He whispered in my ear. I smiled to myself.

"Love you too." I said before stealing a kiss on the lips. She nuzzled his nose against mine, I got worried, he never acted like this, it was like I was leaving. I guess in a way I already had. He let go and walked into his closet before changing. Finally finishing with my hair I walked out and saw the time, five minutes till Raven left. I sighed and dragged myself out the door.

Once Raven got outside the plane had landed and the stairs where lowered. I gave her the best smile I could muster before stepping aside so she could board the plane along with the other two. Once inside though I saw her head pop out again, she extended to hand to me.

"Well?" She asked. I looked up at her, not quiet believing what I was seeing. But then I smiled and grapes onto her hand.

"Looks like I'm the only one who can keep you safe, none of these other wolves seem to be able to keep up with you." She said with a smirk, I punched her on the arm as I walked into the plane, what was I getting myself into? To my surprise Camryn, Aiden, and Rosa where already waiting for me. I stared at them and then sighed in relief. I realized that changing packs would mean by default we would be Omegas until we could prove ourself a higher rank.

I smiled and went to sit down by them but Raven had other plans. She grabbed my arm and yanked me to the seat next to her, I yelped in surprise.

"What was that for, Alpha?" I whined revving my arm. She rolled her eyes when I addressed her as Alpha.

"Don't call me that, it feel weird." She said. I blinked at her. The plane started and we took off, I was terrified of heights so I gripped the seat until I lost feeling in my hands. Raven laughed at me.

"Where you like this when you flew back to the Shattered pack?" She said between laughs. I glared at her and growled.

"No, I was to focused on getting back." I hissed. That only succeeded in making her laugh more. I rolled my eyes and tried to control my breath.

"So can you tell me about the attack?" I asked Raven, she stopped laughing and cleared her throat sitting down next to me, a shadow cast over her face.

"I honestly don't know much, I don't know how many are dead if any, why or how." I leaned forward and put her elbows on her knees clasping her hands in front of her.

I nodded and sat back in the seat, momentarily forgetting we where thousands of feet up in the sky. The flight attendant came by, I ordered a soda and Raven ordered a beer. Once we got our drinks I get up and walk to the back of the plane, Camryn is snuggled into Aiden's chest, asleep. I winced, knowing I might never see my mate again. Rosa and Aiden where talking quietly. I knelt down next to Camryn and brushed hair out of her eyes, I smiled. Getting back up I walked back to my seat and see that Hailey stole it. She was about to get up when I told her that I was just about to go visit with Derek. I found him staring out the window and the sea. I smiled and poked hi. On the shoulder, he jumped and turned to see who it was. He growled as I stared to laugh, taking the seat next to him.

"So, what has been going on with you, last I saw you where a rouge." I smirked. He nodded.

"Yep, but Raven invited me into her pack." He told me, I nodded.

"Surprised she has not made you Third Commander yet." I told him as turbulence hit the plane.

"Ya, I have no interest in a high rank, hey wait since you are new to the pack you are the Omegas! Wow, from the top to the bottom, that was quick." He teased. I glared at him and growled. Wiping a fake tear from his eyes he clutched his stomach in very real laughter. We talked for several hours before I heard Raven come up the isle, I looked over confused when I saw a sleeping Hailey. I smiled and got up, offering to take her to one of the rooms so she could sleep, Raven shook her head and told me to go back and sit. She walked under a curtain as I walked to the back of the plane, suddenly I felt like I was going to throw up. Raven got back and horror shone in her eyes.

"Not on the carpet!" She screamed, I waved it away and grabbed an ear patch, once it felt better Raven sat down next to me. I looked out the window and saw it was dark out, I settled down and slept, hoping that we would be back on the ground by the time I woke up.
