✧┊⋆° Gabriela's POV °⋆┊✧

My head rested on the back seat's window as I fell asleep until we had gotten to the event. Sofia shook me awake, which I am forever grateful that she woke me up five minutes before we had arrived so I could fix my hair up a bit.

Elena parked the car, pulling down the visor and dragging back the little thingy to reveal the tiny mirror. She applied a layer of Miss Dior lipgloss. The three of us left the car, cameras flashing. It was almost impossible to see anything.

I felt fucking blind.

"I can't see a fucking thing, El." Sofia muttered, only loud enough for my cousin and I to hear.

"Just walk straight, idiot." She responded, walking towards the... well, from what my eyes could make out it was most likely a door, but it was hard to see through all the camera flashes.

Elena pushed the glass doors open as we walked through them, she led us over to a tall man standing by another door as he held a wooden clip board.

"Hello, good morning." Sofia grinned at the man who wore a black suit.

"It's not the morning anymore." He stated bluntly.

"Fuck yourself." She smiled sarcastically with a little nod.

"Names?" The man ignored Sofia.

"Elena dos Santos, Gabriela da Silva and Sofia here is our plus one." I said, fidgeting around with the ring on my pinkie.

The man stayed quiet, moving to the side to allow us in. He held the door open with one hand.

The three of us walked around the venue, staying close to each other.

"I want a beer." I stated out of the blue.

Sofia grinned, immediately going through her purse as she pulled her hand out of it with a flask. "Cheers, baby!" She handed it to me.

"You're literally heaven sent." I smiled, unlatching the top. I put the flask to my lips, parting them to let the alcohol in. It burned down my throat, still feeling amazing at the same time. "Sofia, seriously, marry me." I handed it back to her.

Sofia gasped, "Next year, March 27th. Be there."

I nodded as Elena glared at us with a look.

"What?" Sofia asked, her eyebrow quirking up for a second.

"Nevermind." She shook her head.

"Gather around, everyone

"Gather around, everyone." Someone in a fancy gem-stoned black gown spoke into the microphone set on the stage.

Everyone in the room's attention went to the lady speaking. She was gorgeous, she gave off huge Sabrina Carpenter vibes!

"So, I just want to thank you all so, so much for attending, it really means the world. I know that a lot of you had to travel to be here, and we really appreciate it. Now, let's give it up for the woman who made this all happen. Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado, may I present to you: Katherine da Silva." She smiled, the crowd roaring as the woman stepped to a side.

Elena and I's grandmother stepped onto the stage.

"Hello, I just wanted to say how grateful I am to the owners of this venue for allowing me to throw this event here, it has always been my life-long dream. And I also want to thank my family for supporting me through this journey." She smiled, "now, I'd like to introduce you to two? No. Three very special girls of mine." The crowd roared.

That was our que to step up.

Elena, Sofia and I walked up the stairs and onto the stage.

Sofia walked up to the microphone, "hello whor-" she began speaking before she got cut off by a hand covering her mouth. Elena stood behind her whispering something in her ear, most likely death threats.

I stepped up to the microphone and began speaking.
