Chapter 4: The Hug, Y/n's Pov

After I convinced Marinette that I was okay, we both started getting ready for bed. Once I was finished getting ready, I climbed up to my bed, and Mullo and Longg started to tease me about mine and Adrien's friendship. Just when I finished rolling my eyes for what seemed like the 100th time today, I heard a faint knock on my trap door above me and when I looked up, I saw a black kitty cat staring back. A smile crept onto my face, and I opened the latch and climbed up onto my patio. He held his hand out as an offering for help up. I took it while pulling myself up with the help of my other hand. I couldn't stop myself from smiling as I asked him, "Cat Noir, what are you doing here?" I looked up into those gorgeous green eyes where he seemed to only look at mine for just a few seconds at a time.

"I just wanted to make sure you were okay, safe. I wanted to make sure the miraculous ladybug fixed everything." He said with a worried voice, but while looking over my body, his voice began to soften. "You look alright." He says curiously while hoping I would agree with him. "I'm alright, Cat Noir. A sexy little cat in black saved me before anything could happen to me," I said while flicking his bell lightly while smiling as to say I'm joking. But am I? I begin to notice the redness rising in his cheeks, and it doesn't seem like it's going to go down anytime soon.

"Sssexy, you say?" He says very quietly while looking at the ground. "What's the matter, Cat Noir, cant handle it when someone flirts with you instead?" I had a smirk covering my face while I tried to make him look up so I could see those beautiful eyes again. He finally looks into my eyes, and my stomach tightens just a little. "It's not that, I just figured I wasn't your type," he says, very confused yet intrigued. "Who says you are? You know you can find someone attractive without liking them." I say very matter of factly while crossing my arms and looking up at him while trying to hide a smirk.

"You know, just like me with you." I finish off, seeing if he would fall into my trap. "Yeah. Of course, I know what you're talking about." He says. "Oh. So, you admit it, " I say with a little smile while I notice his eyes dancing around as he tries to find what I am talking about. "Admit what?" He says very questionably. "That you find me attractive." I say with the smirk still on my face as I look into his eyes. "O-o-of course I do, I would have to be blind not to notice." He says very quietly as if he is scared of what my reaction might be. "Thank you," I say bubbly while curtsying letting out a little giggle, "I find you attractive too." I say.

The space around us starting to become awkward as I say, "I just figured if I could imply it and you could admit it, then I should admit it too." I say, hoping to make things less awkward. "No, yeah, of course. I appreciate it." He says, very rushing as if trying to fill the empty space as quick as he can. "Seriously though, Cat Noir, thank you for saving me," I say while stepping towards him as he is looking down. "Yeah, of course, it's really no prob-" he stops his sentence as my hands are now on his waist as he looks into my eyes. I smile slightly while sliding my hands all the way around his back, where my hands are now on opposite sides of his body, and my head is leaning in the crook of his neck.

*Pretends to clear his throat through a cough* "It's no problem," he finally finishes his sentence as he begins to wrap his arms around me and hug me back. My insides begin to thump as I feel my pulse throughout my body. He's so warm. His chest is so tight. I feel safer in his arms than I would if I were surrounded by a hundred soldiers. I begin to feel my cheeks rise with heat and only get hotter by the second. I want more, but I'm afraid once I begin to start, I wouldn't be able to stop. I slowly start to back away as I let my hands slide slowly back to his waist as they started. I look in his eyes before I remove my hands from his waist and croak out a sentence, I wish I didn't have to say, "I think you should go now, I have school tomorrow. Thanks again for saving me." I couldn't believe I just told him to go! But I don't want to pursue anything with Cat Noir without talking to Mari about it first. "Yeah, I wouldn't want you missing any beauty sleep. Sleep tight Y/n." And just like that, he was off into the night, with his figure shrinking the longer I watch.

I finally crawl back into bed while Longg and Mullo just look at each other and then look at me and let out a laugh, "I guess we mixed up the two boys." Longg says while looking me up and down as she notices my red cheeks. "And don't you dare say he's just a friend," Mullo adds while also looking me up and down whilst Longg let out a small "mmmmh." I lean back in bed with a smile still splashed across my face as I stare up at the ceiling thinking about what just happened. My stomach still dancing from the way it feels when I'm in his arms. I don't remember falling asleep, which is probably why I didn't set any alarms. Much to my surprise, I was being woken up at 7:30 in the morning by Marinette.
