"They were here... Ozpin, they were here!"
Ozpin, Ironwood and Glynda could be found high above Beacon within Ozpin's office, and Ironwood wasn't exactly in the best of moods right.
"We're very much aware of that! Thank you, James." Glynda responded, her voice barely hiding her venom.
"Fantastic! You're aware! Now are we going to do something about it, or should we just stay the course and ignore the seven dead bodies?!"
BEEP BEEP. BEEP BEEP.
Ozpin's desk began to beep, indicating that someone had arrived in the elevator.
"Come in." Ozpin greeted.
"I apologize for being so late." Weiss bowed, walking up to the three adults. "Ruby was being... difficult... again."
"That's quite alright." Ironwood assured. "How are you feeling? How is Ruby as a teammate?"
"I'm doing wonderfully, sir." Weiss stated. "As for Ruby. Well, she's certainly a character. But she's definitely better than when we first met."
Ironwood nodded. He walked closer and placed a hand upon her shoulder. "That's good to hear. And Weiss. I feel it's appropriate to let you know that I think what you did last night is exactly what being a huntress is all about. You recognized a threat. You took action. And did the very best you could."
"Of course. Thank you, general."
"Ahem." Ozpin gently interrupted. "Now, Weiss Schnee. The general here has already informed us of the events that... transpired last night." Weiss shivered at the memory of that night. Sure, she was unconscious for when Ruby arrived, but being bombarded isn't exactly a fun past time. "But now that you've rested, we were wondering if you had anything to add."
"Was anyone else with her?" Glynda added. "Did she look familiar to you at all?"
Weiss thought to herself. She couldn't remember anything in particular, that might be too important. "I... I don't know. She was wearing this mask, and she barely talked. But she did fight with hardened glass, and had Dust embedded clothes."
"Save for the glass..." Glynda pondered. "That sounds like the woman I fought not long before the school year began."
"And embedding Dust into clothing is an age-old technique. It could have been anyone." Ironwood also pondered. It was time for Weiss to fan the flames.
"Do you possibly suppose that this woman is affiliated with the Torchwick and the White Fang?"
...
"It's possible." Ozpin raised. "But we still lack the required evidence to link the two together. Miss Schnee, you mentioned that the woman barely talked to you. Did she say anything in particular?"
Perfect. "Ah, yes, sir! Before the elevator doors opened, I heard something about the southeast, just outside of the kingdom."
"Interesting. Miss Schnee, thank you for your cooperation. Oh, and, please try and be... discreet about this matter."
"Of course, sir."

////////////////In team BWRY'S dorm room, Weiss opened the door to be immediately met by Yang and Blake getting in her face, Ruby still asleep with her hair untied.
"So, what happened?!" Yang blurted out, causing Weiss to flail about and fall flat on her ass.

////////////////"Well there you have it." Ironwood stated, leaning against the glass lining Ozpin's office walls. "We send as many troops as we can to the southeast along with Designation: Rose I.C.-0n, find out exactly what's going on, and eradicate any forces that stand in our way."
