Boses Pov
Mika yells for Miles.
He trudges out from the front of Chapa's house. Mika already starts running into the water.
I'm confused.
What's wrong with Chapa?
Miles runs after her, and they franticly search the lake. Finally, they pull Chapa up.
Miles teleports her to the place I'm standing.
Mika Pov
Chapa's hand is squeezed shut. I pry it open, and a tiny bottle falk out.
I frown and start reading off the bottle.
"Anti-depressants....
If you take more than prescribed, the side effects could be making you sluggish...." I trail off.
I stare at Chapa.
"She knew what she was doing." I whisper.
Miles and Bose stare at me.
"What was she doing."
I stare at them.
"She obviously took more than prescribed then waded out into the lake. So when she got underwater, she would be to sluggish to swim back if she got cold feet...."
I point at the bottle.
"But she took more than she thought it would be and instead blacked out."
Bose looks at me
"So she only wanted to be sluggish so she couldn't swim back but she winded up blacking out?"
I nod
"Do I get a treat?"
I ignore him.
I bend down to Chapa and check her pulse.
