Getting better

Sylvie and Matt didn't know what to do with all this free time Sylvie was slowly getting better Matt wasn't letting her lift a finger.

She was in pain and he hated seeing his girlfriend in pain she couldn't walk.

"Sylvie breakfast is ready" Matt said

"Coming I might need help" Sylvie said

"I bring breakfast to you and your pain meds to" Matt said

Sylvie was sat on the sofa Matt brought a plate of food over to her they days pretty much was just eating watching Netflix and sleeping.

Firehouse 51

Second shift we're on duty the team fell off with Matt and Sylvie on medical leave Stella was filling for Casey and Violet hated her stand in paramedic but they knew Matt and Sylvie needed healing time.

"Guys 51 not the same without Matt and Sylvie" Cruz said

"Yeah I know what you mean but they need some time to heal" Stella said

"Guys what Matt and Sylvie when though will haunt them they need time to come to terms with that but for now we have a job to do" Herrmann said

Sylvie's place

While 51 we're getting to doing a shift with out Matt and Sylvie they two of them had fallen asleep on the sofa.

These days Matt and Sylvie were running on little to no sleep because they had both been having nightmares.

"Matt where are you" Sylvie said

Matt woke up Sylvie had another nightmare.

"I'm here it okay your safe I think we need to book appointment with Dr Charles" Matt said

"Yeah I think your right" Sylvie said

"Okay I book appointment for tomorrow" Matt said

"Thank you I love you" Sylvie said

"Your welcome I will cook lunch you rest I bring your pain meds over" Matt said

Matt cooked lunch while Sylvie rest from tomorrow they would have therapy sessions.

"Is Chicken parm okay for lunch" Matt asked

"Yeah fine I love your chicken parm" Sylvie said

Matt And Sylvie had a lovely and then decided to take a trip to the firehouse as the both are going stir crazy Matt helped Sylvie into his truck then put her wheelchair in the back.

They drove to 51 they wanted to see everyone it had been a week since they did everyone had just got back from a call.

"Hey look who it is" Herrmann said

"Hey guys we got bored and decided to see you guys" Matt said

"It nice to see you two we missed you guys today" Stella said

"Well unfortunately we can't return until we have completely forgotten at least 17 weeks of therapy oh and when Sylvie I healed" Matt said

"Can I hug you bestie" Stella asked

"Yes but be careful I'm in a lot pain but not as much as I was in before" Sylvie said

"That's good but I give a very soft hug" Stella said

It was nice for everyone at 51 to see Matt and Sylvie and it was a nice trip out for them.

"Matt Sylvie what are you doing here" Boden asked

"Well we were going stir crazy and wanted to see you guys" Sylvie said

"Fair enough how are you guys doing" Boden asked

"Getting there it hard but we seeing Dr Charles tomorrow" Matt said

"Well I wanted to let you know they no rush in returning you return when your ready your jobs will be waiting for you" Boden said

"Thanks Chief we should be heading off we only came to drop in" Matt said

Matt And Sylvie headed home they were glad they when to the firehouse.
